Wow, Deejay and Chun Li aren't getting much love. I feel like I should start maining them.
Next round in the tourney, it'll be Deejay, Chun Li, and Gief.

 

At least it's not Honda vs. Blanka. It's not easy being green.

 

I feel like chun has potential, but i havent been able to or seen anyone use her well.... I feel like deejays just crap, especially without all of his crossup shenanigans. But prove me wrong its always cool to see some of the weaker characters do well in tourneys, like uryos sakura at godsgarden, that was SICK

 

Deejay is like Guile, but with a blazing EX, and a far more viable ultra. Can apply far more pressure too.

Chun also great at applying pressure, esp against shotokaners.

Ok, time to use the pair.

Looks pretty good, speaking for myself I think the odds are a bit better against Akuma and Dhalsim too depending on the level. I am usually suited to fighting around the 500 to 1000 BP area, otherwise i get wrecked. I have a worse chance against Chun-Li and Blanka though, I need the jump kick sometimes and Blanka is so damn squat. "Applying Pressure" does sound better than "Spam", heh.

 

Fun match-ups.

Regardless of whom I use, I always tend to have trouble punishing Abel. And lots of trouble with the smack-smack-grab block-string and the overhead kick. Grr.

haha yea. Abel's all about wakeup mixups and hard hitting combos. A tip agaisnt abel is to NEVER empty jump near him, you're just gonna get tornado thrown

 

Next time we'll get an Abel mirror-match going. Should be entertaining to give you some of your own medicine (or not)

 

I have a replay of me in an abel mirror match. I was still trying to use yun, and got beaten by his abel so I switched. Didnt turn out too well for him Ill upload it later today
