Did receive a hate mail from Ph0en1x77 though, lol I got bored of chasing his Sagat jumping back all day so I just picked Viper She's so good at chasing Then he got mad, picked Akuma, and got KOed even faster (predictable teleports lol) and hate mail received. Viper really pisses off a lot of BN kids who love shotos
ApperThrow + Appercut = hate mails love generated from people's hatred... some1 need to direct this film called ''Justin the twisted Volts machine!'' genre: Horror + Romance
Came out of retirement, only to find that I get matched with Justin Weatherly on friendlies... Had the feeling the name was familiar and then oh snap, TenOnez!! Kicked my ass so thoroughly I'm still crying, haha!! GGs bro, always good to see old faces.
GGs Jibba Jr I know, the lag, we could have both done a lot better... After the first game I thought connection was alright so I switched to Sakura attempting to land some long combos Then we start getting stupid lag spikes Anyways good fun your Abel is solid I saw a reset attempt but end up too far.... I actually have a Abel reset self-invented CrHP cancel with ex FA2 then dash forward stHP xx roll to then tornado throw If they start jumping u can change roll into CoD that will hit jumpers or low blockers
Seems like everyone and their mum uses/knows that Abel reset! I've been using cr hp, f+ k, dash, wheel kick when I'm lazy.
Lol yea I found out about it almost 1 year ago... and Nash, Klub have all uploaded reps with that move So HR what are the combos u were talking about? Ways to combo into air tatsu!?
3 ways: 1. FA 3, air tatsu (character specific) 2. Hadouken, fadc, air tatsu (close to full screen) 3. J p (1st hit, aa) tatsu. For the record, I thought the 3rd would land but I discounted it because I couldn't land it. Both J6U and capt confirmed it though. Shall I think up the next combo challenge? Edit: combo challenge: name as many special moves that can link into itself twice, e.g. Ex cannon strike x3. (No normals or fadc in between. I can think of 2 other instances right now)
Good games as always. I'm curious, what time zone are you? I always play in the morning before work and usually find great players (or RQers) at that time. It's always tougher for me to play good competition right when I wake up but at least it gets my blood going. Yeah, the lag spikes sucked but we made the best of it. Between Yun and Sakura, I never know what moves are safe/unsafe, when block settings end, etc. it can be brutal, especially when I'm not at the top of my game. Anyway, both your Yun and Sakura were great. As for the Abel reset that wasn't, I should know better. It only works in the corner. None of my Abel is really muscle memory yet, which is why I accidentally through out a cr. hp. (2hits) FADC ultra (whiff). Haha. I'm also doing a lot mor multiple step kicks to gauge reactions. As for your reset, I will try it out. I need to find something that I can pull off consistently that works outside of the corner.
Which one? The one Kaboom posted? The one that I actually pull off online is much more basic than that one. It's just cr. hp. (2 hits) x FADC x step kick x TT for 390 (corner only as far as I can tell). If I start it with a FA3 though, it's like 484 (424 I think if started with FA2). Another one that I play around with which isn't new to anyone but me: Cr. hp (2 hits) x FADC x cr. hp. (1 hit) x TT (380) Also, this question comes from the fact that I'm a SFII player, not a SFIV player, so don't blame me too much if it makes no sense. But when doing these resets, does training room account for damage scaling (i.e., for when opponents have lower health, not basic combo damage scaling)? For example, I have been trying to pull off cr. hp. (2 hits) xx Ex FA2 x dash forward x st. p. xx Ex FA2 x cr. hp. x ultra (hopefully my notations are correct but I'm FADCing the first cr. hp. and the st. p and connecting those FAs, so it uses four bars). Anyway, when I pull this off the st. p. resets the opponent. Up until that point it does 237. If the FA2 connects, it does an additional 489 for a total of 726. Are these numbers correct? I don't know if something like is feasible online but I have finally started to really enjoy playing around in the training room now that I have a character that has use for FADCing.
Damage scaling works the same in every mode. I think that some characters have less HP, so damage scaling is a bit different there.
Well, it's a good distance for the Wheel Kick, and peopledon't have the reaction to beat the startup of the wheel kick. Also, some people randomly are blocking low or jumping after the step kick. HP Scaling will apply in the training room. cr hp (2 hits), EX FA 2 is hard because it doesn't combo
How are any of those 3 of the same move, all linked together? Unless I've somehow missed Cody being able to combo EX Bad Stone x3. Maybe you should take over my Cody combos!
