you are sure about EX electricity? Palm, SRK and sweep both hit pretty close up maybe the normal electric but not sure about EX...
oh that... That is because of Sim's hurt-box extends with his stretchy limb... if Sim doesn't have any hurt-box on his limb he would be so OP in AE... will make like almost every character who needs to 'get-in' a 9:1 match up unfortunately some ultra has 1st hit vortex effects.... meaning that if the 1st hit is confirmed, the rest will fully land. For example: Ken and Abel the thing I hate is, there was once Abel's fist hit me while I was freaking behind him and the rest connects...
Hahahahahahaha Qi you're such a joker!!! XD I have been reading alot lately....got 2 interviews to prepare for! =S I would like to reciprocate with a sexy picture but all I have on my laptop are pictures of my index finger (which I totally fap all day to (& with (lol (actually, wait that's weird (.....not it's not =D ))))) <----count to see if I did my bracketing right and report to headmaster. Wanna know something sad? I was trying to figure out where my first post was on this site, after a long search I found it on page 1294. That means I've been providing you hoes with 2222 pages of happiness and joy! -.- jk no it's been good and can see alot of cool fighting history in those following pages.
I agree that Sim's fists need to have hit boxes. I just think they should trade a lot more. I mean, they're fists. But they lose out to a lot of moves. As far as Ken's ultra, it should be similar mechanics to Ryu's ultra. If Ryu's ultra hits Sim's fists, it counts as one hit of the ultra and Sim falls to the ground (depending on distance, the rest of the ultra sometimes connects before Sim hits the ground). But yeah, getting hit by Abel's ultra while behind him is worse than getting hit by a Bison kick (or jump kick) while jump punching from behind him (I think Sim's punches hit very late in the animation so a lot of things beat it out even though his fists are almost fully extended through an opponent).
Ryus ultra is a fireball, Kens ultra is a reversal Both are different types of ultras (moves) and thus have different properties
Cancelling any move into the focus attack is an EX focus attack. It's in one of the loading screen tips It seems sim's super will end if it connects with a projectile. I had a replay where my DJ throws an air slasher into a super and it just ended. Both of us just stand around being a bit wtf about it Sometimes Abel's ultra comes up a bit short. I think it has to do with the collision boxes, i.e. the physical space te characters take up. Ken's full ultra is a 'grab' style where as soon as the first hit connects, you're stuck in it. Others with ultras like that are fei, bison, makoto, vega, Abel and Cody. Personally I have seen someone get hit by bison ultra and then fall out of it. Nash tells me he has seen makoto connect 1 hit of ultra before they fell out. One unique aspect of these ultras is that they reset juggle points, so you can setup some weird projectile chasing situations with them
I'm sure most people here already know this, but I will post it: Akuma's air tatsu can be linked with SRK or hadoken/shakunetsu hadoken, but it can also be linked with normals (for example, cr.hp) if it only hits once, which means some cool resets.
I freaken hate that guy! When you start beating him he goes into turtle mode. I have an old replay against berserk where his kens ultra hit me from half way across the screen:| I've also been hit by chun Lis ultra when I was behind her.
Sagat's works too, but I forgot how to redo it. XD I blocked all of M.Bison's Ultra hits, then accidentally backdashed with Makoto, and got hit by his psycho crusher part of the ultra.
I think something similar can be reproduced. I made cpu Sagat do Ultra in training, and one time, I jumped back with Ken, and he hit me with the very tip of the moves, and instead of uppercutting me with his fist, he hit me with his bicep while going up. So, it's not something like Gief's ultra, it can be changed/manipulated.
