Naw man, I meant just advice for using C.Viper.

DJ is easy. Knee shot spam.

Stop pretty much all burning kicks.

I know, I still need lot of practice in this game. The problem is that most Akuma players I face online only spam fireballs, and I haven't played with lots of Makoto players.
Yes, I definetely enjoyed those matches, and thanks for the respect. Did you enjoy my perfect round with Akuma?:D

Viper's pokes? crMK is her best poke, comes out fast, decent range and recovers pretty fast!!!

You don't really wanna stick to her poking game since her strength lies in mobility and damage. Generally you would want to use some Seismic Hammer to chip/build meter, mix it with feints to catch opponent jumping. Go for surprise BKs if your opponent isn't focus-happy to close the gap.

once she is close she is dangerous! You can learn a lot of her mix-ups in YYOJJO or N3ro209's rep.

Her weakness is FA at mid-far range, slow DP (not good vs cross ups) and her other wake up options are both risky (ex BK won't hit crouching opponents and ex Seismo isn't good against delayed attacks)

I hadn't thought of that but my gut says no. ZFXFZ seemed to be big on low-tier characters (Yun and Cody). ZEREF did play Yun and Abel but also used Bison, Guile, Akuma, etc. I just checked though and ZEREF's profile seems new as of today. The replay against me is the first one on his page, followed by a bunch v. Tenonez (good company huh?). ZFXFZ updated his profile today as well.

I didn't realize Cali was Javier. I haven't played him in ages. I played a long set against him with my 3 year old on my lap and got smoked, mostly because of his spacing and my inability to pull off the simplest combos. He's gotten better since I last played him. I was very impressed.

LOL I under-estimated your Akuma that round, thought you're going for obvious wake up fireballs so I went for shoulders on wake up and eat sweeps all day

when I see the FA lv3 charging (that was the correct range, up-kicks will not hit Akuma at that range) I just kinda gave up that round LOL

I think I'm at ''ok'' level with most characters, feel free to send me invites if you wanna practice a particular match-up :) except Vega, god I suck at using that guy... need some help from 3-Chord Dork...

Yeah, it was decent enough to start but went down hill fast. I liked the FA, FA, st. p reset (I think that's what it was). I was trying to do cr. hp (2 hits), FA, st. p (or cr. hp or step kick) reset. Actually, how do I write it when the FA cancels a normal (cr. hp) but I connect the FA instead of dashing out of it?

Yeah I know, but I don't wanna BK spam, or SH spam either.

Cr.Mk seems to be easily beaten.

    @Xion

    Get caught! XD

    Cr.Hp, FA (2), dash forward/ dash f, st.hp, roll.

    (Stage)

What I was actually trying to do it fa (2), fa (2), st.hp roll.

Try FA (2), FA (2), Step Kick, dash f, throw/roll.

    Roll is cross up.

For cr.lp or st.hp after, rolling goes in front.

And please turn autoblock off when going against TA?

Abel's a crossup mixup character too.

    XD Get sexy.

lol those 2 moves define her as a character and you're not using them

It all depends on where you draw the line between ''spam'' and ''only uses it at the right times''...

to me, as long as you're not playing with ''jump back BK all day'' then you're fine coz that would be really hard to counter... a bit like Bison's teleport spam on a laggy day with input delays

Does the crossup roll work at all online with everyone using AG on? I went through a off/off stage but AG off is harder for me with Abel because everyone kills me with jump attacks/cross ups.

I like cr. HP (2 hits), st. p (reset) xx FA (2), dash f., cr. hp (2 hits), whatever.

Why do you do FA (2) for the first hit instead of FA (3)?

    It doesn't matter really.

It's usually only the end one that matters.

I'm not sure about Cross Up roll, but I've done it against Abel, and it works.

AG off is so people can actually do their cross ups.

SPA one, doesn't prevent the other person from doing anything.

You should practice against cross ups.

    Ignore J6U's notation.

    Say:
FADC (focus attack dash cancel) [sometimes people use FABDC for the backdash]
    FA lvl 1/2/3
EX FA lvl 1/2/3 for when you cancel the special into a focus attack and connect

Okay, fine, it'll be EX FA, dash f.

That's what he meant. Fadc is for generic dash cancel. He actually hit with his FA.

:D I can't land that, with the people I go against.

I only managed to land cr.mp to cr.mp with Yun.
