I played this japan abel a few days ago and he actually linked a few times step kick into combos. I dont know if its possible cause i dont play abel. Maybe he CH me? I dont remember if it was CH or a straight up link.
Yeah. I kept hoping it would work out because it's been awhile. I had just rebooted because I had been having wifi problems. I guess it didn't do the trick.

Snnnnaaaaaappppppppp. Nice find man, forgot that worked. Always wanted to cancel everything into a dive kick reset. XD That'd be sexy, if you could cancel Dragon Kicks into a Dive Kick Reset. Oh yeah, on a blocking dummy, do cr.lk, st.lp, st.cmk (close), neutral jump cancel, dive kick. Endless?
He'd be terrible. His whole archetype is based on using the Sonic Boom to bait people into beating themselves. Sure there are players who don't use it as much, but all the tools Guile has are based around that playstyle.
Last reset can be done without FADC just replace divekick with his overhead kick. Harder to time but meterless!

I understand, out of all characters I have scored most perfect with Yun... reasons could be: 1. landing reset = stun in a few seconds 2. people not used to the dive-kick most of my RQ I get are from Yun, then Viper when BN Akuma tries to Raging Demon the burn kick LOL but then when I see a Gief online...
The instant eye lazer was dope!! XD he brings a creative edge to SF! I reckon Capcom should hire the weirdo. Change characters if not doable with a certain character. New Chun Li stuffff! FA (3), FA (2), Ex SBK. FA (3), FA (2), Ex Lightning Kicks, Ultra FA (3), FA (2), Ex Lightning Kicks (2), fadc, Stomp (3) FA (3), FA (2), Lightning Kicks, Super Cancel Style hard.
It used to work on every character (i was using japan volt let me try us volt) Edit: it used to work ex kicks 3 hits fadc stomps, now is only 2 hits then fadc stomps
