Heh, Abel's tornado throw is throw invincible so if 2 Abels try to TT each other at the exact same time, they both miss.

There was a rep when I did TT on Gief's ultra and beat it clean... LIKE A BOSS actually Abel is one character who can rape Gief on wake up, I remember Lariat has no throw invinc too, not sure about ex Green Hand though...

I hate this. I've had a couple occasions where my opponent and I do it twice in a row, with both of us missing both times. His TT has weird properties. It will whiff if I'm too close to an opponent at times. It can also be very forgiving though. I use it to punish too early sometimes but it still comes out fine. I love doing this. Works against ultra and super IIRC. It also works against Honda's ultra. With that said, I have HUGE issues with Gief when using Abel. I just can't seem to come up with a good strategy, even against weak Giefs.
blame it on lag, it is hard to time a meaty TT! So if you misses the timing lariat will still hit u and yea Gief is just ridiculously good in volts with Assist on... walk up super/ultra is never an option in AE coz of the 720 input
Any specific advice on Abel v. Gief? Most Giefs just stand there and wait for me to do something and, unfortunately, I usually cave out of boredom. Plus, once I get knocked down, it's brutal getting away from his damn body splashes since Abel is so weak to jump attacks.
