Yes it's sometimes very laggy and what's worse is that we can't quit the game without it being recorded to out card. Capcom should've included something like auto-detection program so that whenever the game lags, it's automatically disconnected.

Did any1 try these to get Akuma?

    1. At least 1 perfect round on 1-round matches including the last battle
    2. You don't have to use combo finishes.
    3. But you can't lose any matches or rounds nor use a continue when you die. Beating Akuma will unlock him.

can't tell unless their screen name makes it obvious, but when you get pauses every few seconds which last a few seconds something is wrong and the most common lag factor is distance.

  4. Done and nope no unlock .

I vote Rose! From vids I've watched she seems to have the most unique style of the remaining characters!

ugh, playing online and the 20% battery notice pops up, counts as me quitting the match :/

Guys, what if unlocking Akuma has something to do with accumulating special points?

    Any reason to get SFIV?

Sorry if it's been asked and answered in this long thread already, but I don't have IV or Volt on iOS, and I was wondering, if I get Volt is there any reason to get IV? It looks like Volt has everything IV has and more?

Ok, beat Akuma but he didn't unlock. Is he not playable? Did I miss something?

erm any? i basically press FA then dash forward or backward
but sometimes FADC does not come out

and wad is EX FADC? how 2 execute it

sometimes when I FADC my body doesnt become golden sometimes it does

  13. Some skills are easier than others to FADC, for example hadokens/fireballs and uppercuts are the easiest forms .

To FADC , execute the move, then immediately hold down the focus button and dash, then release.

There is no EX FADC. If body doesn't become golden you didn't hold down your focus attack while dashing .

FADC varies with characters, so it's difficult to explain unless you determine which character to play with.

For example, for Ryu, I would perform a Shoryuken followed immediately by pressing FA and dashing forward and then the Ultra.

Note that not all moves can be FADC-ed.

  15. Thats what we're trying to figure, either there's some other way or he only comes unlockable in next update .

Thanks for the explanation. Although I still fail occasionally.

by the way how to execute EX FADC? and what's the difference between it and FADC?

Ok, is there any way to opt out of the forced online battles (short of turning WiFi off on my devices, which I really don't care to do)? Why does this game even have a solo mode at all? I can't get even a little into the first round of the first match before *BOOM* "A new warrior approaches!" I hate this game. Plus the one online match I did anyway was pretty horribly laggy.

I wish they'd just added the 3 new characters as DLC to the original game. I'd even have been happy to pay more for the privilege. I don't want to play SFIV online because I'm not very good. I just wanted the new characters and improved animation and eventually maybe online. Heck, you can't even go into the training to learn the new characters moves because it will even dump you into a forced online battle in there!!! Am I alone in hating this version of the game?

  18. Go in a game, pause -> accept -> off.
Alternatively main menu --> solo play --> twin icon at the top of screen --> accept always off
