Really? Wow. of all the players who RQ on you it's just ches that I'm shocked. didn't expect that manner from him.
dont worry on missing the BnBs, it happens to the most expirienced players, even in the console version. EDIT: i quit laggy matches, on the first round. In my opinion its unfair to both sides and even more unfair for the low tiers. Keep trying firendlies out.
Thanks CaptY! Definitely something new to try on training room apart from my usual drills. I am often on-point with my BnBs (but only with single player fluidity) so your suggestions to train resets is much appreciated. My fingers are sore from attempting some of them, but I'll get there. Perhaps at some point I can then work on my hit confirms and vortex game for Akuma. Sagat seems like a "day-off" character and crutch for me now, thank goodness. @Harle: Hope to add more people soon, once I've shed my newb cocoon.
On a practical level it's got to be factored in. A Sagat or Bison with a C level skill is going to win more than his fair share against a Viper of the same level. Difficulty only gets taken out of the equation when talking about two S (or maybe A) tier players IMO.
That 10th throw must have ticked him off Oh the hypocrisy when they are outraged on BN at rage quitters So hilarious
As long as there's no lag spikes during your combo, the same timing applies online. Whenever there's lag and you're trying to land combos with 1-frame links, you will never be able to rely on what you see on screen. I used to close my eyes and try to land combos in training mode to get the timing down. I don't do that as much anymore b/c i don't play the game as often as I used to.
O_O! what!? If opponent tries to, jump, press another direction, press a button, try to back dash, vortexes are pretty worth it. Viper, Akuma have vortex pottential.
Agreed on the hypocrisy App.. Some USA top fighters are BIG on RQing nonames, while still b*tching about RQs on Public BN.. The more anonymous accounts a person has, the more disgusted you get the same people b*tching about RQs just as quickly RQ on an anonymous acct.. What do you expect from a USA BN community that permits a WELL KNOWN RQer to participate (and win) a tournament ?? In the end everyone will just say "oh well, it's OK to RQ so long as you got skills.. People will still play with you coz they wanna measure your skills, RQ they'll just have to put up with".. The best way to discourage RQing pros is to BAN them from tourneys for ANY RQ transgressions.. But as was said on USA BN "if you ban RQs from tourneys, there will be no tourneys".. Those TouchArcade tourney matches were STILL to beat: no RQs, MULTI CHARACTERS, gracious losers..
Well, not all the players at BN. there are still great and cool players at USA BN. their just not active on the public forum. BN is the place where I did started and thru BN I met many friends from different countries. I don't look up BN the way you put it down so badly. Don't be so unfair only seeing the bad and the negative side. Try to look at some positive aspects.
We tried to ban RQers from our tournies. I think Slick Mackey was one of the ones we were torn on since he was so good. We let Khoipro1 in (I believe) even though we knew he was a quitter and, sure enough, there was a big dispute when someone with the same name RQ during the tourney in a scheduled match. He claimed it was an imposter using his name which, of course, made no sense. Other guys that seem to be "popular" on BN but who RQ against scrubs like me include Joez, Pumperr8472, wesper8, etc. The whole mindset of some of the people who play this game just boggles my mind. Just to use him as an example, J. Sabta was a huge RQer back in the day. He was a good player but couldn't take losing. I generally was pretty even with him (probably lost more than won though) but never got a single win because he'd always RQ his losses. I started avoiding him but, since returning to Volt from SFxT, I've run into him a few times. His sig now reads something along the lines of "retired playing for fun," as if it was some legit competition previously. At least he finally realized it's only a game (and a dumbed down version of one to boot).
