Ahahahaha the forum is always its most fun when we have a villan, just don't tell them that.

Adammmmmmmm! Ive been good, insanely busy. In my book of OG players you are number 1 though, even if we never make the lists!

Nah man i haven't booted up X Tekken since like the 3rd week after it was out. That being said I still play Volt a few times now and again but the lack of optimization for the iPhone 5 messes with my execution hard, so they are never long play sessions.

I mean I wanna brag or anything but...

    http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=96574

Yea thats what you think it is, the "Upcoming game" thread created by none other than this guy!

    Hahahahahahahahahahaha

Seriously I miss the days prior to BN for sure, a lot more respect within our own community for eachother, nobody brought eachother down for how they play instead offered tips and humble good games after matches, not "I uploaded the replays you scrub so everyone can see how bad I beat you".

Ive become a lurker for sure, not really intrested in the once every 3 page discussion about SP assist blah blah blah that our elitist have been going on about for thousands of posts.

See you guys about 1000 pages from now when we remember how awesome things used to be again!

I'm the trashiest; nobody even knows my name.
What I noticed happening is they would pop up every now and again in "new" places like Pakringo, Line, Chatzy blah blah but then after the initial buzz they would disappear again.
I think it's just a life consuming game and it's best not to make harsh commitments so you can have the freedom to come and go as you wish.

    +1

Most of the newer players have terrible attitudes.

Line is just filled with spam, worse than BN

Had this game for a while but only started to get into online play. This is a scrub question, but I gotta ask: is there any improvement to lag with a better iDevice? I'm on iPhone 3GS still and feels like it's incredibly hard to register my inputs on Wi-Fi play.

Lag depends on many factors, but definetly 4th generation idevices are better.
    (Iphone 4 and 4S and ipod 4th)
A good internet connection is also recommended

He's just trying to get you to stay; he misses your aura inside his lonely Blanka.

    LMFAO Harle !!
A few of the Japanese guys were so happy (initially) to lurk in the popular USA BN Line groups.. THEY DELETED WITHIN 48 HOURS !! They complained it's just a bunch of guys saying "s'up" all day or "look at me look at me"... LOLz

I promptly forwarded them a YouTube link to the classic Budweiser "WAAAZAAAP" commercial, and explained it was a phenomenon because YEAH THAT HAPPENS in the Western world.. :p

Harle, did I ever tell you, a few months ago some of the Japanese guys somehow got their hands on your spreadsheet based combo/frame rate guide (the one in your sig) ?? Here's the transcript of the chat (or something like this)...

KH: What is this ?? (link to Harle's guide)
Me: Oh that's a spreadsheet Harle made to show what combos are possible, like a flowchart table.. You pick your first move, and the spreadsheet guides you to what is possible after..
    (silence for minutes)
KH: This is incredible.. I must study all night..

    LOL
I never asked how they stumbled upon it.. Perhaps it is linked from another Japanese site, but it's surely not via TA coz they don't come here..

He's a decent Gief.. I dunno why he RQ, it's so rare for people to RQ.. Gonzou speaks good english.. Look at his Japan BN page, he posted that NASTY neutral jump reset spam you did on him.. OUCH.. I dunno why he stubbornly kept "hanging in the pocket" with you.. I bail out of range when I start getting nailed with neutral jumps..

I have to fill xions shoes now since he doesn't have the balls to call people on it like he used to.

Yeah, it's the one in my sig. It's a public resource, but only a select few can edit it

I couldn't find the replay. I found a BN page for him but it doesn't have a ranking or that many replays.

In our first game, he picked guile vs me and then left me hanging at the black screen while he rqed.

In the second, life totals were about 80%-10% and he just rq.

Can you read Japanese? How do you communicate with the japs? I'll message you the chatzy link; I'd love to know what the japs are up to

XD Thank you for being the voice of reason in my absence!
When I come back I'm sure I'll be complaining once again and ordering folks to play "for real" with me, going off-off.
    Volt's incredibly easy, I don't know how you couldn't...

    My day on jap BN:

After Gonzou rqs on me twice, he justifies it by saying that my 1724-349 W/L is fake.

On jap server I don't play friendly or anything under than ranked. So total guile uses minus ranked record is roughly the amount of rqs. That figure is current at about 13%

    let's look at this, scientifically...

Gonzou's hypothesis = your win/lose ratio is false.

13% of the times were neglected due to RQ, that means your total Guile usage = (1724+349) x 1.13 = 2343 times.

assuming no1 win quits like Apprunner: so your actual wins would be 2343 - 349 = 1994 wins

hence your true win/lose ratio = 1994:349, that is equivalent to 85%

testimonies from those players who you've fought, like me, can confirm that 85% win rate for your Guile sounds about right. Therefore we could reject Gonzou's hypothesis.

Don't we love the Science and Mathematics? players
