i honestly think it was with ios5 and gamecenter, that my ipod 4th gen became really sluggish and unresponsive.
iphone 5 no doubt it is really great and very fast even in online playing but the thing is, sometimes i feel like i miss or inputs is not responding very well, at first i tought it was just me then i saw a video on YT about this i5 screen problem.. hope that it was just a software glitch not a hardware glitch
I have this problem on my iPhone 4 so it will just be more of the same I guess. Although in the past I had hoped that my screen was slightly unresponsive because of all the beatings I gave it over the last two years.
Speaking of iPhone 5s, since I know a bunch of people here have them, will I lose all of my progress on all (or most) of my games when I upgrade? Sorry for the off-topic post but we're like our own little community here within the larger TA community.
Not at all. You back up everything to icloud and then when you activate the iPhone 5, you restore using your icloud account and its as you've never left. Of course it will be about 15x faster than your current phone (no joke...it is literally about 15x faster).
The jump from a 4 to a 5 should be awesome, although UPS didn't bring it today. But I thought only a handful of games offered icloud support?
In my apps list, all of them offer iCloud backup / restore support (look in iCloud settings and see if any are missing). The other way to do it is to backup to iTunes and do a full restore to iphone 5. This will literally be a complete restore (including all pics, text messages, other) back on the iPhone 5. You can accomplish this my activating the iPhone 5 connected to your computer with iTunes running. There is no way you should lose ANY information upgrading to a new phone.
iPod Touch 5th Gen owner here and I get dropped inputs when playing Volt. Just trying to do Yun's regular P-K-P is kinda 50/50 on the 5th Gen and sometimes either a P or a K won't come out even though I know I pressed it. I just stick to using my 4th Gen for Volt since Capcom's pretty much done with this game now which is a shame because this game looks really nice on the 4 inch screen. Game is still terrible online either way though. RQers galore.... And Auto Guard users. And lag. It's as though most people have downgraded their connections now.
I don't see anything about apps in my iCloud settings. If a backup while connected to iTunes works maybe I'll go that route.
So i see I'm not the only one experiencing unresponsive inputs at i5 device. Also im sticking at my ipod touch 4th gen In playing. hope that apple will fix that issue. And we need an update
I'm also an iPhone 5 owner, using ios6 to play volt. But unlike other people, I get no dropped inputs whatsoever. It's a shame that it happens so often, because it's definitely not a guaranteed problem for everyone who upgrades their phones. I'm proof that it doesn't happen to everybody, but unfortunately it seems like it stills happens to MOST people.
Also awwwwwyeeeeeaaaaah I'm no longer a junior member. Still not a senior member though, if this were pokemon I'd be an ivysaur now.
Thanks. That did the trick. I hadn't backed up with iCloud previously and it took 5 hours. Damn! Is that normal? I should get my 5 today and hopefully it's just as easy to transfer everything.
I think that's the problem. We're just really far away from each other. But that iPhone 5 thing you mentioned probably doesn't help.
Just got my leap controller dev kit, I wonder if it can be programmed to replace my joystick Will try it out! Anyone interested in this can check here: www.leapmotion.com
