    Well........

Yuns crouching mefium punch (hold down or down back and punch) combos into itself and then dragon kicks. Its pretty hard to do it at first, but becomes easy with practice (still not easy for me lol). Crouching kicks also combo into themself and then dragon kicks.

Is that what you were asking?

    some sort of

    however the timing is tough

the dragon kick can be blocked easily is the timing is messed up

is there anyway to 2x crouch kicks and then followed up by crouch punch to smtg else?

I watched Yun's gameplay...after the shoulder charge...this combo is common

except we're lacking some of Yun's skill here to copy them

    baffled!

Just curious, can someone explain why this version of Volt has the console sounding narration, you know, the more horror sounding voice:confused:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4S_X1leJH8

    or has it been redubbed?

Im pretty sure 2 crouch kicks can also go to shoulder, whcih is (pretty) safe on block and can be canceled into super. Practice the 2 low medium punches though, its tricky at first, but does more damage than the light kicks.

Also, when finishing a combo you have three options, lunge punch, upkicks and shoulder. Shoulder is the best if your combo is blocked because its the safest. It can also cancel into super. Up kicks does the most damage and lunge pushes them into the corner. Theyre all good options it just depends on the situation.

This is the best genie jin combo i've found. From a shoulder cancelled into super: shoulder again-f+kick-f+kick (repeat until in corner)-palm-f+kick-palm+f+kick etc.

im sure there are more efficient combos than that but thats the best ive found so far. One good thing about it is that palm is slower but more powerful, meaning the damage scaling is lessened.

i know there are many ways to using genei jin and I've tried various

n often i messed up when the juggled state of the AI is not favorable to certain skill

however most safe and dmg would be Momochi's combo

shoulder - genei jin - ultra - kick x4 - lunge punch or others

i oso have problem with the command grab

most actions after switching sides are blocked

any idea wad have gone wrong?

p/s: insane dmg from EX palm - shoulder - lunge punch

I've switched to Fei since he was released and find that I am winning alot more with him.

I wish I could say it's because people don't know the matchup but my assumption is that most people who have volt also have some other form of SF 4 and are relatively familiar with alot of the matchups.

And for those that do not they dont seem to learn Fei's very basic punish game. I rely heavily on standing hard punch into rekka or ex rekka for most of my damage throughout the round. This destroy shoryken spammers and an punishs almost any mistake your opponent makes.

Fei has also made my 3 worst matchups a cake walk that being Guile, Blanka and E Honda. E honda and blank who spam headbuts or Blanka balls eat three rekkas on block for their attacks, and jump in's are destroyed by his standing hard punch or his flame kick.

I know this is one of those long "cool story bro" post but I saw someone post that he sucked a few pages back and I was thinking clearly that person must he playing him wrong. If you choose Fei your goal is to be patient and punish. If anyone wants to play some casuals and practice the matchup let me know.

I'd say that although he's top tier in the console version Yun probably doesnt live up to that in this version alot of his combos require strict timing and thats just not possible with the high lag rate on volt so he will likely fall lower mid tier.

Fei however I would think from the brief time spent with him would be one of the best if not the best character in the game right now.

So based on Snooper's Tier List from before I think Fei's match ups look like this

    Vs Akuma 6-4 Advantage Fei
    Vs Cammy 7-3 Advantage Fei
    Vs Sagat 4-6 Advantage Sagat
    Vs Bison 5-5
    Vs Guile 6-4 Advantage Fei
    Vs Zangief 3-5 Advantage Gief
    Vs Viper 7-3 Advantage Fei
    Vs Honda 6-4 Advantage Fei
    Vs Abel 5-5
Vs Chun Li 7-3 Advantage Fei
    Vs Balrog 6-4 Advantage Fei
    Vs Dhalsim 4-5 Advantage Sim
    Vs Blanka 6-4 Advantage Fei
    Vs Ryu 5-5
    Vs Makoto 5-5
    Vs Sakura 7-3 Advantage Fei
    Vs Ken 6-4 Advantage Fei
    Vs Vega 6-4 Advantage Fei
    Vs Cody 6-4 Advantage Fei
Vs Dee Jay 6-4 Advantage Fei

Which totals him out at 113 making him God tier! These numbers will probably change once people get used to the match ups but Fei is one of the few characters that has alot of match ups in his favor by unfair amounts. These numbers for those not familiar with tier lists represent 10 matches played by two players of equal skill.

Fei in my opinion only has 3 hard match ups Gief and Sagat and Dhalsim, Fei has to get in to do damage and Sagat and Sim has alot of ways to keep you out which make it tough for him to do any damage to them. Gief on the other hand is scary because Fei has to be next to him to do damage meaning Fei's only options are to bait him for punishs or poke using crouching high punch or standing kick.

I have no idea what Yuns match ups are like I only tried him once or twice and got destroyed so I moved onto to Fei and kinda fell in love which is surprising because I cant stand him in AE.

Here it is. If theres anything you think is wrong please tell me.

Note: I put yun really high. I havent seen any amazing yuns or played that great with yun myself, i put him so high because of his rep on the console versions. If it turns out hes not that good ill change him later. He doesnt have his st. mp which is annoying.....

Its actually attatched this time haha

and @ivoloster YOU IGNORANT FOOL lol jks, but it was me who made all those lists before, they say By Snooper on the image :D

Theres a lot of 7-3s in there. I dont think hes that good to be honest. No way hes 7-3 against cammy or viper. Fei long-viper is supposedly even in the console versions. And against Gief you put it as 3-5.

Hes good but not broken, that makes him look too broken.
