Harly your vid was awesome! You make guile look OP! And WTF!! How can his focus attack hit an opponent who was hit in he air! People are using guile wrong! Hardly any of these moves are used against me, even the basic bnb combos
Yeah, cancelling Ex flash kick with fadc ex FA is pretty fun. Quite costly in terms of meter, but it still does good damage. Well, I call them BNB combos. Slrc and I both agree on those combos, but I haven't seen anyone else do the jumping p, st p xx sonic boom, cr rh. St p xx flash kick is a little hard to do, but once you learnt it, it's very easy and quite consistent
Great games hieu! Seems like we had that perfectly almost-unnoticeable amount of lag there. Not enough to make us want to stop, but enough to make you keep missing your Yun combos after command grab. Lucky me. You're a beast, as always!
Yeah, I know. But I guess in the lead up to this you wouldn't seen that reset a few times too... I guess the point I'm trying to make is that I land it a lot. I've rarely been punished on trying to reset someone
I never thought that Guile could be THAT powerful. I only know Guile's low light punch low light punch flash kick Nice vid!
I didn't play Volt a lot so I still don't know any combos for any character, or even how some characters like Claw works. With Guile I only know that combo because of SFxTK ATM I main Akuma because he has great combos without meter, but Makoto's dashes are AWESOME. I think I will main her instead of Akuma.
huh!? What did I have that is pretty much the same And, wow... these arguments... we are a team, a family and I hate to see this going on between 2 of my well respected players... Blame it all on me please, I am the one who brags about winning scores and I claimed to be the best 'random' player in the world. I also lie about my lost too and I RQ every time I lose so no one is saving those reps! I will take the blame, please stop!!! Peace
Hieu your girlfriend's so ugly she makes onions, blind children and Celine Dion cry!!! XD @KaBoom: Don't worry about it! This place always has and always will be a place for disputes to be fought over and completely unresolved hahaha! That's what this place is for RIGHT!?
Actually Dhalsim is a bad matchup for Sagat. I'd say it's 6-4 Sim. Insane. That video was awesome Harle! Great work! I use that f.P, st.P, Boom, cr.RH all the time. I use a lot of those standing Flash kick combos too. I saw you used the cr.Fierce>>Super too.
Damn you Canadian's with your thriving economy!! Alright last one for tonight: Your GF is so stupid, she died from boiling water in the toaster!
No way. It wasn't even 6-4 before Sim's nerf. Sagat has the advantage if played correctly but not many people play the matchup properly. Sim can't crack a Sagat turtle or one that zones properly and uses FAs.
He is a pain in the ass to most Sagats because they don't play him right. I can't beat the best defensive Sagats but I beat most of the aggressive ones because they're so predictable. And most Sagats are aggressive.
Wondering who here has ae on ps3 that'd like to play sometime, I recently got an arcade stick but I'm still better on controller, does anybody have any tips for the transition...
Finishing a combo and starting a new one immediately. Due to damage scaling, long combos deal less damage than short combos, so one of the best techniques is to do a reset in the middle of a combo. For example, you can use FADC (focus attack dash cancel) after a combo to use a throw or to jump and starting a new combo. That's always better than continuing your previous combo, but keep in mind that the other player can block your upcoming attack.
Docta why do you think sim is bad matchup for sagat on equall skill players? 6-4? Is it really that much?
What you explain here is actually an escape for blocking opponent to create a guessing game either block, tech, ultra or reversal. You can do so much more with a reset since you have a bit more time and space for a set up while the opponent is fliping in the air. Actually a reset is when you do a normal move (no special moves) that doesnt have knockdown properties during a juggle state that causes the opponent to recover immedietly. You can tell its a reset when you see the opponent flip in the air. After the reset you can come up with any sort of follow up, a throw, a full combo, a cross under, a cross over or even block if you expect the opponent to mash a reversal or ultra. The opponent is on a juggle state while backdashing, falling from a focus crumple (half way to floor), while jumping, while doing certain unique moves or special attacks, or when you launch them in the air with a unique attack or a special move. (Viper's ex thunder knuckle puts the opponent on a focus crumple state)
