I usually use a MAC to handle the recordings. Use medium Quality, low quality is a bit fuzzy. In the settings of the recording use H264 format dont use AVI (AVI has problems). On PC i think you can use real player converter to convert it to any format. Its completely free and very good converter. Comes with the real player sp intall package. As for editing you can use Adobe Premier, Windows Movie Maker. In mac i use Final Cut Pro.

Good games! Yeah, that's the only thing I didn't like about the set. It's never been that bad before. Maybe it was a bad connection day in Volt? You're as a good a player as always.

Lol, good games! It was fun. Shocked you started using Bison. You did well with the spacing and combos so your training is blending in well with actual competition.

Haha, I can picture the cheer and punch in the air. That should be a .gif.

I didn't know wins were that hard to come by when fighting me. I'm beatable lol.

GGs man. For some reason I didn't go back to the next screen... Yup, we will always have a little lag or something. It's not a big deal, though. Some spikes at random moments is ok, I guess.

Np. It really throws off my game and I feel like I just have to sit there.

I ran into -40 in ranked and his connection sucked and I ended up getting my ass kicked:( that really sucked because I haven't played him in almost a year!

   ~Discussion~

This is just for the chat, basically put down your starting character in Volts, reason that you chose him/her and if he/she is still your main now :D

If you've changed to main another character plz do leave the reasons too

Back in the first SF4 app I was just messing with the shotos coz they are easy to pick-up.

When Volt first came out my starting character is Cammy, inspired by Sako and his style!!!

Then mained Viper, partially coz she can counter those projectile spams easily... partially coz of Latif's performance in EVO 2011

Now I main Yun, coz landing his super is just SO MUCH FUN :D

but I still random most of the time on friendly :) always an excitement to randon select

My first main was ken because I've always used him in every sf game. I played him with sp off and auto block on. I considered myself a shoto player and hated playing charge characters because they felt so limiting.

I forget how I ended up picking blanka but I think I was just seeing what else was out there. I settled on him because I liked that he could play almost any style, rush, lame, mental, etc (I think every character can be played that way now but he was my first character that allowed me to play differently).

I've tried other characters but I keep going back to blanka.

I should probably go back to shotos just to get out of my ABC habit (always be charging).

I don't know what that means but he used to be the best blanka in the game and I wanted to see if he still had it.

Well my very first character was Guile back in vanilla. Then i started testing Bison as my secondary character. I was ok i guess with Bison but i was a better guile. I remember i used to play OFF/OFF, cause i played over bluetooth with my friends. Playing over bluetooth was really something else. We all thought playing OFF/OFF was the correct way to play. Then i came to love Cammy when the update came out. I was a beast OFF/OFF Cammy back then. My friends went to a point that they hated Cammy. One of my friends played Blanka and he was very good OFF/OFF. They all quit a bit before Sagat and Dee Jay update came out. I tested Sagat a bit i think i used him for a while but went back to Cammy.

Then finally volt comes out. I kept on maining Cammy, but i realized alot of people online had slow internet, or the netcode at the beggining was bad, i cant remember. I also remember the millions of spammers and the rage quitting madness was everywhere, even i rage quitted at the time, so i started playing ON/ON. I felt the difference right away, no unwanted moves, no missed inputs or combos, complete control. Then one day i come accross vs this dude named YYOJJO. Right after the match i was like HOLY FK. I started watching replays, went to the lab with Viper and from then on i was a Viper player. Shortly after i found TA forums and i stopped rage quitting also. After EVO 2011 it just reinforced my decision of playing more Viper.

After many months of Viper i got bored started playing Bison, Yun, Fei Long, Cammy, Vega. I would choose any of them, including Viper at random. Then i came to love the female characters so i started just playing Makoto, Cammy and Viper. I sucked so much with Chun-li and Sakura that i didnt even consider them until a dude named Duyster The Beast aka Chicken Farmer showed me some matches of him using Chun-li and Sakura. I was like O_O! "I will play them as well". So after a while of playing all five females finally i decided to main Chun-li cause it just felt more fun.

Short story my mains were Guile > Cammy > Viper > Chun-li.

Back on iPhone vanilla SF I was using Bison, because he's always been my go-to character when starting any SF game. I know his moves really well and they stay the same in every game. I tried Ryu, but I couldn't get the hang of doing special moves manually on my phone.

Then when Volt came out I immediately switched to Vega. Not because I thought he'd be good, but because I always thought he was the coolest character in SF. I mean, he has funking claws and does sweet-ass wall jumps! Hell yeah! And at that point I still believed that playing OFF/OFF was the only true way to fight, and Vega happened to be one of the few characters who did not need SP Assist AT ALL. He ended up being perfect for my play style, and the fact that he was fun was way more important to me than his tier or potential.

Now I still use him because I still feel that way, and because very few others use him so I get to say I'm one of the best Vegas in the world.

I started off with Ryu because I played him a bit in arcade too. I could play most chars and beat up the comp but when playing against others I always did better wth guile/Charlie. I love playing Charlie in x-men vs street fighter and street fighter alpha 3. I remember reading somewhere that a long time ago that due to Guile's recovery on sonic boom you can chase it in for pressure, which is something I've always done since

Has anyone experienced the VPad getting stuck during matches in neutral position? Cause that hell is the worst glitch ever lol more than input lag and lag itself. This happened to me on a few lagless matches.

I started with Akuma, because shoto characters are easy to use, and he seems very powerful :D
He's still my main because I just started playing some weeks ago.

What's up everyone? Been awhile since I checked this thread but it's great that this thing never dies. Anyway, I guess my first main in Volt was Sim, although it took me a couple of months to finally settle on a main. I tried Guile, who I mained in SFII, but the conversion to focus cancelling, etc., was a bit too much for me at the time given my SF experience. I basically went through all of the characters from SFII, while always dabbling with Sim. The SFII characters that I spent the most time on were Honday, Gief and Balrog (I guess not technically a SFII character). I liked shotos in the arcade but was turned off by their reliance on focus cancelling in Volt.

For some reason, I didn't really want to main Sim in Volt, which is why I kept trying other characters, but he just felt right (especially before the update that nerfed him) so I went with it. Eventually, I got bored with him and started playing non-SFII characters more consistently, such as Deejay, Fei Long, etc. The only one that I really tried to main was Abel, who is a ton of fun to play.

Anyway, when I play now, it's usually Sim or Abel. I like to play Sim off/off but it's so tough. I have tried Abel off/off but just can't do it.
