You guys can link ex hammer, burning kick, ultra at max distance in the corner?!? I don't get anywhere near close enough with the burning kick
When did this game become "Super Cereal Match Always!"? Seriously, I can't even have fun in Friendlies anymore. If I random or do a x-Star handicap, I guess I'm playing around too much and not worth a rematch lol. I guess I have to play like I'm trying to win EVO on a mobile phone Street Fighter game or I'm not trying. This game can be completely stupid sometimes.
Try against Ryu. His airborne hitbox is a bit easier. Are you having trouble connecting on the BK or the Ultra? You can wait a split second between the SJC and the BK, gets you a bit more distance. This tech is insane. wtf. Edit: Looks like if you're on training stage, Ryu in the far-right corner, the effective range goes from Viper's toe being just less than one square to the left of the black line, to Viper's toe being on one square to the right of the black line. 1.8 squares range.

yes if the opponent is cornered ex hammer max distance (unblockable), sj, bk, ultra or h.tk (can add fadc, ex bk)>> or sjc, ex tk after the ex hammer EDIT: after unblockable can add meterless fadc, mid tk, ultra, or fadc if have the meter to be safe.
After a throw or a focus crumple, you can set up for the unblockable. Must memorize the spacing perfectly. If you throw the opponent to the corner, its usually a super jump back, and then 1-2 frames forward. EDIT: its actually forward after the back super jump and no need use shortcut. BONUS: if the opponent wakes up late after any fall you can set up again for the unblockable.
Yea, likewise, no luck here. I wonder if it's because Viper is so far away, the pre-emptive guard doesn't trigger in time (i.e. the character going into the guard pose, when you throw a fireball or whiff an attack). With hammer > SJC > ex hammer, maybe the target is already in guard post from the first hammer. Or something.
I thought that was why it is unblockable, because you're moving between blocking and neutral or something like that...
You know how a move has a box that, if it hits you, forces you to block? And that's the only way to block. You can pretty much win a game, if your moves doesn't have the make you block hitbox. That's the deal with Ex Seismic I think. The block box for the move doesn't reach them, and the hittable box is further than the block box.
So i told n3ro about the unblockable on the LINE chat on a PM and he said "Yea YYOJJO showed it to me long ago, stand high kick puts you at the correct distance". Holy fk, the top vipers with a secret sauce. LoL So i tried it out and its 2x st.hk from te farthest distance.
Guranteed unblockable the opponent back dash on Wake up Focus crumple opponent in corner, after crumple dash back from the focus, jump back intant bk, back dash, ex hammer. I dont know if this is character specific i tried in ryu.
Seems odd that you're giving up a free focus crumple to setup an unblockable that has less combo options and probably less damage too
Not really just do the math. After focus crumple the max you can do is around 500 no ultra, around 600 ultra Ex hammer, sj, bk, ultra is 615 + 150 from the crumple No ultra would be max 415 + 150 from the crumple Can you see the math?
