Yo, you should make a volt version of this. Include this too, I guess. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvtZS9hej-I http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RwenyxwHQZ8
Hahaha! Hey I figure if it's okay for Hieu to throw lag into thr mix, why not me too? xD It depends on where the opponent is. Hieu and I actually had some really smooth games last week and if they're relatively close the connection is pretty good. I'll be at my folks' place for the next couple weeks starting Tuesday and they have decent wifi, so hit me up for games anytime.
Ok I thought I understood the scoring in AE but I don't. In ranked this is what I see: Me: 1107/9999 2427/1715 I don't understand the 9999 and 1715. My opponent has: 438/9999 1144/4414 What do I need to quickly look at to determine if the player is good in general? And slightly OT: it seems that the better the player is the lamer he plays. If I'm not attacking then down back is all they do.:|
Dude I think TenOnez, Fffan and a few others explained this about 20-30pages back. But basically there's pp and bp: PP - you gain or lose based on each game, no matter which character you're using. BP - based on your character. The 9999 thing is a ranking I belieb.
The ranks don't show anything past 10000 so if you're below that, they'll just display a 9999. That's means out of all the players, you are ranked 9999th+. As for the bottom number, the 2427 is your BP with the specific character you're using and you're ranked 1715 out of all the (Blanka) users in the world that are on your console. It really depends on how to determine who's good or not. The general rule is first to look at their PP and see if it's 2k or higher. If it's not, then look at their character's BP and see if it's 5k or higher. The reason is because PP changes whenever you win or lose regardless of the character we're using. For example, I could have reached 2k PP by only using Bison and earned 5k BP with him. Then the next few days, I try using some other character and my PP tanks to 500. The next time I face someone, I could be 500 PP with 5k BP using Bison and they should not take me lightly just because I have 500 PP. Hope this helps. As for better players = playing lamer, it really depends on the character they're using. If it's Akuma, Ibuki, or any of those vortex characters, playing lame won't really benefit them. Sure, they will lame it out looking for a chance for that hard knockdown, but once that happens, they will go in hard and wished that they remained playing lame. Oh and with more and more people learning unblockables, they will definitely not lame it out when they know that there's lots of (most likely) guaranteed damage for them.
Man, that was some crazy stuff. I do like videos like that. If you have the time, I suggest you watch them. It's like crazy SF3 Daigo Style parrying. (AKA that 3S video that people always talk about if they have only ever seen one SF3:3S video)
Who's this 'prince' guy on BN with crazy characters in his name? Is it our buddy batman? Is he legit? He had 300 BP and his bison was pretty crap. Then he tried to troll me by picking my characters after I beat him with them...
Batman has some serious problems, he's got like 50 iPhones and 150 Gamecenter accounts....would not be surprised if it was him.
I looked at the replays of 'prince'. He's well mannered, but he was a 5k BP guy and I guess that's where I remember the name from
Thanks! Wouldn't their character ranking by console be the better indicator versus their BP or PP? Your character points can be lost when you lose right? If you have 5k BP but are ranked 7000 it's not as good as having 2000BP and being ranked 1000, right?
Yeah I won't even play him any more. He's one of those players that wins and runs and then he talks shit on GC and then will upload a replay talking more smack. Add that to his history of cheating, so now I just quit on him along with the rest of the serious offenders (carpdiem2k or whatever his name is, haroldskingdom, and the GC trash talker tenonez ran into).
Anyone know who this luffy akuma player is? He got a double perfect on 0killz (using the exact same routine each round I might add) and he perfected him in another match as well.
You don't even need the Dropbox, the game is available for free on Capcom's website. http://www.capcom-unity.com/brelston/blog/2012/12/17/street-fighter-x-mega-man-now-available-for-free I like doing it from the original source because then they get a better estimation of how many people downloaded it.
Let's say you're comparing a 5k BP Ryu and 5k BP Hakan. The Ryu player could be rank 4000 while Hakan is 800 or something (just an example, I have no idea what the real rank for them is). Now, let's say Ryu vs Hakan is a 5-5 matchup. If you matched those 2 players up, they should stand toe to toe against each other. The ranking for a character only shows how popular the character is. And yes, your character points can be lost. It's just not as strict as PP. The link was down when I tried downloading it around the time I posted.
GGs Slrc connection felt funny I couldn't have my moves out the time... remember how u whiffed an uppercut with Yun and I all I did was forward dash? well that was suppose to be an uppercut FADC ultra punish... for some reason the input didnt read my uppercut just FA foward dash... well anyways, GGs hope that the next time we meet connection will be smoother
fought him before, he's got the combos timing down perfectly. For some reason that dude won't fight me again (quit before vs screen) well he goes for the flip -> grab reset a lot and once I ultrad it then he started quitting on me all the time...
Haha tell me about it, while the Ultra does have just a sliver of Invincibility, what happened really happened in your situation was Capcom shitting on Abel again. The hitbox on his ultra is only engulfed around his fist. So he loses to just about anything low enough to avoid the hitbox, For example Cammy is able slip right under with spiral arrow(sometimes) and Ultra and Ive mashed Ultra against Guiles sweep and Guile beats it clean.
I'm not sure if this is the guy that I beat with a crappy character and then RQed or the guy who beat my crapy character and left pretty fast. Either way, I found him again 10 seconds later with a different GC picture, that was weird... I felt the connection ok, but well... It was fun tu use the whole roster, and I ket losing at the end because I left my worst characters to last. Hope to play with you soon.
