I'm still fuzzy on how someone can cheat in this game. It's not like hacking BP (which is probably the only parameter you can hack and still be able to play online) actually gets you anywhere.

RS is a good player. No need to be shit-talking if he's not here to defend himself.

shotos would be easier if makoto had ultra 2

Hi guys, I have three questions for you experts. Thank you in advance.

I have the feeling that crossups blocking is very different in Volt than, say, in AE. The impression is that I always have to block backward, unless the crossup is WAY over the character, due to some input latency. Is it really this different? If so, how do I block: backward and then forward when the opponent lands? I guess most of players use autoblock, but I simply don't like the way it works and that I may lose the charge. When an opponent figures my weakness, then I always get exploited hard.

Second thing is related to the first. Sometimes my characters execute charge moves when the opponent crosses me up. This never happens in AE and it's like they're pushing forward for me. I'm sure this happens and it's an easy experiment to do. Use Blanka and knock down the opponent. The do Blanka's dash with forward K to jump the opponent and right after buffer another dash forward. You'll see that Blanka will dash backward to the original position. This is very annoying. Did you experience it?

Third thing is a silly question. Can Blanka link cr. lk to ultra? I know I can in AE and I'm pretty sure some good player tried that on me, but I never saw it happening. That would be a nice hit confirm, maybe too strong they felt it had to be removed. In general, can I combo into ultra 1 at all in Volt?

Edit: I have to say these first two thing do happen in online mode, while in training mode nothing of that sor occours, since I just checked...

I play on iPad. Just set them in a square near the edge of the screen. Works best for me so far.

1: Practice? Training room is good stuff.
2: I you have sp assist, say you are holding db. The guy jumps over, you'll get a forward input, now that he's in front. You get an ex move. Sometimes if you're lucky, it will autoattack in the correction. Or just time it late.
3:No. I read on eventhubs, but it doesn't work in volt. You can do a weird mixup though. If you do a cross up land on an opponent, you'll come back the the from side again. Weird glitch.

What's with radical slasher? Another 0kills thingy?

I heard Rolento and Heihachi came with the update.

That'd be crazy, if it goes to 10000. Have you also counted legit 5 meter combos? Not sure if Cody has that though.

It all depends on the move used after the jump for a crossover, the timing, and spacing. If close it was done late, it probably will crossup, if not so close and done late it will not crossup. Some moves have weird hitboxes.

Oh god, Tenonez you sure know how to make a guy feel like he doesn't know how to play this game anymore. I gotta get a broom to brush off the salt on the floor after that blinding beating.

He does have good stun for his single moves though.

Does FA, throw whiff, low move count?

Or do you know any combos with the fake stone?

    Throw whiff doesn't do anything.

You can cancel any normal into a fake stone. It doesn't do damage or achieve better recovery

    Lol, That's insanity!

You should whittle it down to the 10-15 best combos. No one needs that many. xD

It's all in a spreadsheet, so it's searchable by damage, stun, starter, corner etc.

I think the most important combo I found was xx ruffian, fadc, ruffian, ex criminal upper is a fine midscreen punish combo. Also, ex rocks needs to be used more as it does awesome damage
