Well, fought Duy. Good games! Shocked to come across him. Well, in Volt, it lags 98% of the time so I eventually got used to completing Yun combos in situations like that. Sometimes I've had to push the buttons half a second in advance in some matches I've had to get the combo to work, I've had lagtastic Genei Jin comboes where I was fighting the game more than my opponent to finish the move, you name it, I've fought lag to do it. Also, I used lots and lots of bad language as a motivation to finish this combo regardless of what the connection thinks and it's usually the "F bomb". We still made it work though. It wasn't too bad, we got most of our comboes off... Somehow. Also fought "U message me with something i laugh" again. Changed his name to "SF Giants World Series" something. Another bad message.. Again. Does this guy change names every single day? Does he literally have nothing else to do?
There aren't any. Which is how I was kicking the crap out of 3k+ Jap players on a regular basis because most of them probably don't know the matchup too well. Every Guile player I played in Japan was HORRIBLE. And this is ME saying that. xD
Yet surprisingly 1.5k-3k bp guiles have 53.18% winrate (2nd to sagat). At 3k bp + they have 66.28% winrate (again, 2nd to sagat) which is very good considering guile is the 8th most used character at 4.17%.
Chun-li out of corner reset FA Level 3, FA Level 3, stand high Kick links though its not a reset that you can mix up after but looks damm awsome.
well after all it is a different game, they do have similar game mechanics but they do have other notable differences like frames... e.g. Sagat and Cammy wakes up slower than the rest of the cast by 2f, Blanka wakes up even slower than those 2... I wouldn't say if some1 is good at Volts will be good at AE (unless he is SP/AG off all the time) Take Shadow.Storm as an example, me and Nash agreed that this dude is a ''combination of all sort of spams into a volt account''... but can he perform as well in AE with the same tactics? I doubt it my point is, DW about getting ur ass kicked we are all kinda learning a ''new'' game here... From what I have read on the forums you seem to strongly dislike the current state of Volts... so why not give AE a try?
Sakura lovers 4 bar combo no ultra 619 damage Level 3 fireball, jump high p, crouch high p, shouken (3hits), fadc, crouch high p, ex tatsu, (delay) instant air ex tatsu (4 hits) Sadly you cant combo ultra after the 4th hit, if you make it 3 hits then you can. Edit: If you start with a CH, its 649 damage. This combo with ch or without it is the best in the game that doesnt require a super or ultra. (With the exeption of balrog turn punch (CH))
Saxxo, sry for the short set but I hate fighting bison more than any other character is this game. The combination of bison's smug face while mashing cr.lk pisses me off so much. No offense to you, great bison. I just hate playing them.
This guy's sadness is too much to bare.... Dude I remember Cyrus and Nash saying they liked this one Jp Guile player (can't remember his name) in GROUP G of the 3on3 tourney. I strongly agree dude and the differences don't just end there. Me, being a Dictator player, love his stand fierce K, it does not hit the same way at it would in Volt at all. The console version is sooo much more advanced in its hit boxes that Bison MUST connect his kick to the opponent's body or face properly, as opposed to Volt where you just get the kick anywhere in the vicinity of your opponent (it doesn't ever whiff!!). I much prefer the console version even though I'm poor compared to Volt. The main thing you learn in Volt is how to have the mind set of a Good player, execution and solid defence is another story. Awesome dude!! :-D Video pleeeeeeease!! Hahahaha I can just imagine you with the rage face meme when Bison is smiling away at you as he digs at your shins XD
Lol Right now AE is installed on my arcade machine and that's in my garage where I'm doing some carpentry work. I'll be building an HTPC system this Christmas (hopefully it will run well on an intel 4000 integrated graphics chip) and I'll install it on that and I'll try playing you guys. I do have it on my ps3 if you guys have that.
So I can SP Off with most charge characters and Fei since I main him in AE. Fei SP Off is only if the connection is good. Nothing better than trying to rekka manually and seeing the V-Pad just stick in the bottom left or right and then eat an ultra. Weird doing muscle memory with my thumb tho. Yay arcade stick skills!
Whaaaat? That's awesome! I've always wanted to buy an arcade cabinet. Even though I know you can emulate the games easily (older ones anyway) I'd love to have a few arcade cabs in whatever basement I have someday. I'm jealous! The connection issues and the fact that we're talking about touch controls rather than physical buttons are the reason I don't bother playing SP off. I can do a lot of the moves fine, but throw a bit of lag in there and you're asking for all sorts of dropped inputs. The less inputs going in the better. I've said it before but man I wish I could connect my HRAP3SA to my iPhone somehow. xD
Hey i'm being mentioned Ryu w/o sp is actually pretty bad to play because you can't anti air. Anyone who remembers playing me can tell you they can jump in on me all day, especially cause his cr. P is slow and has to be pressed faster than ken or akuma's cr. p
