I agree with most of that. But to me it comes down to how well the other person knows the matchup. Some guiles don't how to beat Vega at all. Some Shotos know the matchup really well. Cody should be pretty easy for Vega since Cody suuuuuucks

absolutely I definitely think Blanka's one of the worst matchups, you're the only one I lose to regularly, and that's because you're a really awesome player, not because of the matchup. C. Viper might be a little higher on the list though, just because she's such an all-around good character.
I would like it to go on the record that Vega's are easy to beat because most Vega players suck twelve kinds of ass. And there's like NONE of us. Same thing with Cody. He's actually a good character but I've only seen one good Cody player in the whole last year.
Can't you say the same thing about every character though? Most blankas I run into suck. For me I look at people that beat me and evaluate why they beat me, was it because they had a better strategy or because of some character advantage they have over blanka? For instance, in blankas case, I think S tier would be zangief. He has good defense which makes chipping hard and he's hard to get close to without being punished, add to that that he can counter my ultra and super and you can see he has an inherent advantage. I beat most vipers but when I play against an equally skilled player I am at a slight disadvantage. For example, she can zone really well and can prevent me from building meter, when close her offense has priority over blankas and she can counter blankas ultra with a special fairly easily. Now if we take the same logic and apply it to blanka v vega does vega have an inherent advantage? I can't think of any.

The reason street fighter, and by extension volt, is so popular is because it's a very deep game and yet you can pick it up and start playing right away. From the out side it looks basic but it has as much strategy and depth as an mmo and NFL madden combined. The only thing it lacks is a story (it has one but it's weak).
What can we say, it's street fighter at its most raw (apple-wise). There's been GOOD times: When FeliX, Apprunner, Shoryutofo, Snooper, SLRC, Squall2002, Berseker 2nd, NYC Chinatown and many others were around and our two teams would fiercely battle in our tourneys. Also I don't think TenOnez was such a Diago back then, more normal? All the jokes and nutty conversations we've had! There's been BAD times: TA vs DD beef leading to a few people leaving the thread (SLRC, Nash, Epik Ninja HEIF, but Heif came back later). Me, HEIF and FeliX vs OG Batman. This was the chat haven for it, the battle took place on BN though. Some TA + Me vs 0kills beef. The hatred and essays were too much to bare, people got banned. My least favourite part of the story. I'd like to take ALL the credit for this :-D
She doesn't have a great anti air though, and vega outranges her longest poke, with crouching pokes. He also has a great kick and short jump. Chun's AA game is . Vega's poke goes like a third of the screen. Craziness. That's a poem right there. It sounds nice with the rhyme. Vega. Outpokes wayyyy too much things with cr.mk. You ballin'? He'll cr.lp with his claw, and you can't knock his claw off. Vega has THE best medium pokes. I swear. Crouching at least. Blanka's crouching whatever punch is also slwoer than both of Vega's crouching medium pokes. Vega can also punish blocked balls with cosmic heel, scarlet terror. Does good damage. Frequent meter build electrics can get screwed with slide or ultra. Vega just has to stay on the ground, and not jump all the time. Vega definitely has advantages. @The Bat Outta Hell Got a ps3! It's too bad consoles can't go cross platform.
The problem with vega's cr mk/mp is you can't hold back like in AE while doing it. His cr mp is the fastest in AE, I believe
