Sorry guys. As said, Rolento isn't even in SFIV. Didn't really think it would be taken too seriously. It's 99% certain to be Evil Ryu, and you guys are busy practicing against shotos...I just wanted to brighten up some spirits.
It's well-past midnight in New Zealand, with no updates on their itunes store. It won't be coming tonight.
From what I could see on the japanese (translated) post, it's a toss-up. Either they are "ending" the campaign tonight at 24:00 (which makes sense), or they are updating it then. Could be both, but it seems more likely that they are stating that the campaign ends, but the update is simply "the next update"...as in, not now. There's always still hope, but just...not that much of it with each passing minute. EDIT: and remember the postmark they had regarding the US contest. Who knows, could be midnight for US.
Even though they won`t launch the update today, shouldn`t they have announced the secret character already in japan?
Maybe it got lost in translation, but this seems pretty clear to me. It clearly says that new characters will be added today. I guess we just wait it out.
