Apprunner's Chronicles, make your opponent think your weak. If he has been informed, miss inform him again. If that fails, play like a complete noob the first game, else DESTROY HIM.

    Haha joke.... App

    Hello guys,

I'm currently working on putting the SSF4AE narrator's voice into SF4 Volt.

I have extracted the "K.O !" voice from the Arcade Edition and converted it to .wav

However the game won't play the new .wav file, even if it was correctly replaced (same name etc., and I'm not replacing any wrong file)

My computer is also unable to read the original .wav sound files from SF4 Volt directory. :(

Did they use a special encoding ? I'm not a pro at this, maybe someone here knows about it?

lol. this coming from the most powerful Sagat of all. After training sessions with you, i had poor Farmer (the man formerly known as the Beast) turtling his mighty Sagat in the corner. lol :D

You're still the best Sagat i've ever played! :) And you helped train other mighty Sagats that beat me constantly like WEdiafom.

Check the bit rate, on a mac i would open mpegstreamclip to show me all the info of the wav but i dont know in windows.
Also you can try to make it the exact same length. Adobe audition should open any audio file in windows.

    I used this : link

and it shows Container -> File type : Unknown

    no Audio info.

I'm working on "nrt_ko.wav" (narrator KO), in the game directory.

It's totally unplayable, and it shows no information. Looks like the file went through an encoding..

Adobe audition should let you work with the original track make a copy of it, then replace the waves and just press save (not save as). If its encoded i dont know what you can do.

Wow that's weird b/c other apps that have sound and use mp3/wav, they play just fine. It's just volt's that's iffy. At first, I thought it would be like .png where you need to normalize to view it if you grab it straight from the .ipa, but I'm stumped now too...

    If only I knew
TenOnez thanks for the great games!!! Jesus, 25 sets in a row!

Your Yun is truly great, feel like I'm fighting myself, minus all the brain damage!! Haha... Sorry, I really do have a problem :(

I hope you enjoyed the fights, I'm lucky to have scraped out some wins here and there. Some of the moves/combos we pull off on mirrors are so ludicrous, I literally LOL (instead of just "LOL", which at this rate doesn't even have meaning sometimes), just laughing my ass off for real.

All matches should be like that; no holds barred, pedal to the metal melee, constant action, no turtling/spamming etc.

Quoting Ali in 2nd person: You are the greatest!

Is it possible they use some form of a .cue file like emulating old cd rom games? I had a hell of a time emulating Rondo Of Blood even though I had the file format and even length right.

I also thought I remember someone saying that the game would do a check to make sure none of the files were tampered with. Is it possible even changing the sound files trips this?

I remember on 1.03.01, I had changed all the stage music to nothing. The training stage's chimes were getting REAL annoying. This was a while ago, and I completely forgot what files I messed around with :(

The game worked perfectly with those modded sound files. I think for online gameplay, the game only checks files that directly affects it. Sound doesn't affect how many frames your moves last for, damage dealt/received, super/ultra meter build up.

Edit: the stage music files are stored in .m4a. Those can be played perfectly.

Yeah a few drunk rounds does sound good. But how to deal with a 9 hour time difference? Someone's gonna have to get day drunk!

You're too nice App, my Sagat is no where near as the word 'mighty'. I have started using cammy though, would like you to examine her, see if she is any good:D
