Sure. You don't come to the chatzy anymore? Me, App, Capt and link were discussing American foreign policy, very educational. Night Wedia:)

Then why they don't do a placeholder for every characters? I don't really get the placeholder idea.

As for the new character thing I think chun li can be a really interesting character. do you know a guy called "georchito" he has a really good 3000 bp chun li.

Not impressed with NYC v. TenOnez? Well he's got resets. He's got FADCs. He's got a ton of mindf*cks. He's on a very different level than Cody. And he's not yet another Cammy.

His CoD, fadc elbow combo is nice. I didn't notice any resets...

I'm not sure if there were any in those videos. The elbow -> step kick is a reset. Auto guard hurts it but if you have better reflexes than me there are a lot of options (e.g. low kick -> COD -> super). This is where mindf*cks come in. If they stand after the reset this works. If they block low you can go straight to COD.

I just did a more simple reset (elbow -> step kick -> TT) against Bouji-23 but he RQ before i could get the replay (he always RQs). Anyway, Abel's elbow leads to a bunch of options so I don't know that a reset is the best option.

Elbow, step kick doesn't work too well because of the range. It works best in the corner.

I am aware that there is a tonne of option after elbow, but it's the same with sakura's EX shunpukyaku. Or how guile's resets ate after ex flash kick, fadc.

I guess I am kinda wondering what other reset options there are the in the game outside of (command) grabs. I had fun doing double tenshin with fei after a dizzy

Elbow -> step kick is almost impossible to drop.

I meant the follow up to the step kick. You are out of range of a command grab so your options are limited if you do that midscreen

Awesome games Fini. It's early morning here so I was trying to shake some rust off but seeing your name pop up randomly in friendlies definitely got my blood going a bit. I think the slight lag spikes through off both of our Abel's timing but it wasn't too bad overall. Really wanted my revenge in the Sim/Cammy matchup. I got stupid at the end with that teleportation the end because I didnt want to run/turtle, which is typically the better option against her.

Wish I thought to grab a couple of the Abel matches to review. Anyway, are you typically on that time? I usually jump on for a few matches at that time before getting ready for work.

Also, sorry for declining hieu. Had just randomly matched up with Fini and hadn't played him in ages. Feel free to send an invite anytime you see me on though. Always enjoy playing your Cammy and Abel. Not so much your Vlanka. Haha.

Oh, I dash in. That's what I did this morning but couldn't get the replay. COD -> FADC also works to get in (and confuse).

Edit: I imagine it could also be followed up with a 2nd step kick to get in close (blocked or not).

Ggs Jibba, it's been long long time to have matches with you. I have a bad habit of sweeping after blocking your wheel-kick. How many time I ate the grub..lol
I was wanted to do something so I had to storm off during the match. Sorry about that.

No problem. I usually don't like Abel mirrors but enjoyed those. Always good to watch and learn from a better Abel than mine.

I don't play typically on this time, I'm in a way free whole the day because I'm at home almost all day. But besides I've got much work to do so I jump in whenever I feel like :D not too often though. I'm saving myself hehe

After a day of playing Cammy (badly) I've come to the conclusion that I enjoy being unique, individual and fanciful in addition to winning. Part of the appeal for Cody was he was underused so it was easy to be out of the ordinary and my favourite combos are some of his wierder repertoire. Unfortunately he has zero reset potential outside of landing a Focus attack in the corner....

From playing Cammy, there are really obviously fanciful combos that many higher level japanese cammies and Shoobedush are doing, for example Jumping K, X EX Cannon Strikes, cr hp, cr mk xx spiral arrow combo. Landing my reset a few times made me pretty happy and giddy and I guess that's the part I enjoy.

Looking at other characters, Guile for example is pretty limited, but I like to think I've carved out a pretty unique guile with combos and resets. Other characters I was considering? Sakura, again only has interesting stuff after ex shunpukyaku. Sure, you can follow that with shoryuken, FADC, Otoshi, but you're doing awful damage for 3+ bars. Abel and C Viper are similarly quite linear with their juggle style combos/resets. As a comparison, Guile's EX Flash Kick, FADC setups do surprisingly good damage, with increasing damage for harder resets.

So looks like I stick with cammy for a bit. I might through in Chun or Fei and see how it goes

If Resets are what your looking for or just general wakeup/mixup options. Fei isnt for you, he is so linear and direct in his play style that its practically a chore to get anything going. Your game revolves around whiff punishing and short block strings and pokes. Tenshin is mediocore slow and bad range. The EX version is slightly better with the range and speed but you'll rately get away with it more than once because of the limited setup options.

Gief is definitely the character you're looking for based on your wants. But, honestly he is way too easy to play and win. I played him for a month and got bored with the lack of competition. Havent played him since.

U r going to be a monster if u master cammy and she is a master of trolling like dan!

Reasons why cammy is the best...
    Air defense air throw
Wake up back dash counter with hooligan
    Jump kick combos to ANYTHING
    Jump kick is OP
Standing kick good for trolling (watch the ariesangelus replay just now)
    Cannon strike!!!!!
    Cannon strike x 5!!!!!!
    5 bar combo with ultra!!
3 bar can turn into a sick 4 bar combo with ultra!!!
Tick throws for trolling or turtles
Fast walking and even faster dashing
    Hooooooooooligan trolling haha!
    Ur famous reset
Abel is the easiest to troll. Got the most perfects vs abel!
U can have a throw contes with Geif and win!
Close combat fighter will make ur opponent nervous

    And lastly she is hot

I'm sure I'm missing a ton more but u get the picture!
Btw 9 second perfect replay up a VOLT record I believe held by a CAMMY!!!
