I was wondering, people who RQ on rank, do they lose bp for doing it? If so I imagine they lose more than if they would have not RQed, right? If it's right, then I don't understand why they keep doing it. By the way, if you ant some game my GC id is (houmous) with the (). I'm certainly not good as any of you here but i'll be happy to get my ass kicked. I don't think I have a main, I like to play Ryu, Zanguief, Sakura and Fei. The thing is, on rank I turned to play less Sakura because it is so frustating to play against a good player with a top tier character like sagat for example. By the way if you have some tips for the sakura/sagat match up i'll take them.

against a good Sagat, this match up is very hard but not as impossible as the Gief match up. his fireball is a lot better than yours, playing full screen fireball war is not gonna do you good so you will have to be patient and try to get in: (1) jump tatsu can put you further than your normal jumps, practice the angle and travel behind him to bait for uppercuts... etc (2) ex Otoshi with a good read on fireballs can punish Sagat's fireball full screen (3) ex tatsu goes over low tiger shots, and is safe on block. Use sparingly though coz this move is not very fast Once you get in, it's pretty much about staying in and applying pressure + baiting reversals check out reps from Xion, DROQ, SirFarmer (Duyster) and Psxsquall. Welcome aboard man. I have played you a few times but it's been while. HarlequinRogue is our resident Cody expert. He's got a spreadsheet of about 6 million Cody combos that you may want to check out. You just missed out on a tourney we're running but stick around for the next one and maybe you can give us some tips on how to whoop pesky Codys.

ex Otoshi or just otoshi is still very hard for me pull out. I always hit to early or too late. Also why is it so difficult to land the "tree air otoshi" after ex tatsu??? even in the video (thanks by the way) Uryo lands only two most of the time. Uryo is such beast, I think I like Sakura because of him. Sagat looks like bottom tier! But well it's Uryo playing and it's the real version of the game. On the volt one, Sagat is so OP that it reduices the chances to win for sakura (in my humble opinion...). I've already seen the replay of DRQQA I learned lot's from him, I didn'tknow about the others, I thought Sirfarmer was a fei/honda player and Psxquall a bison one.
SirFarmer plays all characters like me and Psxsquall is bored of Bison recently so trying Sakura out and TheXion is an amazing SP off Sakura Uryo lands only 2 hit ON PURPOSE because the 2nd hit places him at better distance later for mix ups (3rd hit would place him behind opponent) after ex Tatsu u literally just need to mash down + SP then mash P when she leaps into the air, not a hard combo at all Btw I have uploaded a few Sakura reps just now, none of my opponents picked Sagat though... Still, u might pick up a few tips from it my ID is the same as the one here I do agree that Sagat is OP... I hardly practice on him and can still win most matches using him. His uppercut damage is way too high in volts (only 100 in AE)

I like the replay versus vega, you couldn't land a focus attack for the whole fisrt round and then destroyed vega with it on the folowing one. I have a question, do you guys play with the power button of the right or on the left? Personnally I get some disconnection sometimes by pushing it with the beginning of my thumb (I don't know the name in english). I tryed both but if I put the power button on the left then my right hand covers the sound... I also have disconnection sometime when I do an ex fireball if the home button is on the left. It's annoying on ranked...

Home button on the left, but i use a cydia tweak called backgrounder just in case, now i never get disconects on my part
yea that Vega gets greedy with wall dives, never abuse the same move too much otherwise you'll end up like him I have a case for my iPhone so I need to press fairly hard to power off, hence I don't have this problem. Home Button on the left.
To be honest, I can't really think of what you lack. You did some pretty impressive stuff to keep me back. Well, you focused a lot, so knowing that, I used more of Rog's armor breaking moves against you. Just have to throw them out sometimes since Rog tends to get focused on more. You do one thing that I'm working on trying not to do so much, but it just works sometimes. Calm down on the wake up headbutt. It works, I know, but when it doesn't, it's gamble that you lost on. Just work on mixing up his charge punches with the occasional armor break punch thrown in there and not focusing too much. It can get brutal if a Rog catches you multiple times and armor breaks you. You're pretty solid though. I really had to dig deep to think of something lol. I know you. Welcome to the forums! I'm passing this one on to Harle, lol. He knows a lot more about Cody than I do.
