So on that site it says that the secret character will be announced on the 14th right? so the update should come tomorrow as well?

 

Definitely the update will be tomorrow.

 

I think it's a combination of my device (an iPhone 3GS) and the last update - something somewhere doesn't like something, I suspect.

There's a SFIV update due soon, and my 'phone is due an upgrade soon also, so hopefully one or both of those things will sort it out...

 

I wonder if we had a poll, with everyone picking their first choice as the new character, which one will come first? )

 

I'm using an iPhone4 and get the mulitple disconnects before matchup... I just assume its normal mechanics, and put it down to not enough players online. I dunno; maybe I'm just more tolerant.

I realised early on if you only play for battle points and your not a pro(not implying you're not), this game WILL frustrate you lol

Now you'll mainly catch me in the friendly matches, losing is definitely easier to swallow there.

but like some, I've gained 1000+bp and lost it all in one session, then built it up again and lost again...and so forth.. as soon as you accept things like this can happen, you'll start to enjoy the game for what it is.

However I do feel there was a slight shift in button registry in the last update, sometimes I feel my actions were not registered more than often leaving me open to attacks...hmm, heres hoping the next update improves on this..

It's sure that the secret character will be evil ryu! Capcom has organize a poll to vote the secret character, it's a shame in my opinion!

EDIT: My prayer to Capcom is to get Adon. I know we're getting Evil Ryu and Fei Long tomorrow...but dear god, Adon would be so awesome. SO AWESOME.

He's my main. He saved my life on a camping trip in Chile once. We shared ice cream in Egypt.

I was stuck on a deserted island with Adon once. He jaguar-kicked the coconut trees and kept us fed.

 

You know, I thought the SAME thing but figured it was my imagination!! I've actually lost matches because it seems like my button presses aren't registering. I actually even changed my control setup. Whew, guess I'm not as crazy as I thought I was!

"Entries must be received between 5:00pm (Pacific Standard Time), September 9, 2011 and (i) 11:59 pm (Pacific Standard Time), September 14th, 2011 for on-line entries or (ii) postmarked no later than September 14, 2011 and be received September 19th, 2011 for mail-in entries (“Sweepstakes Period”)."

So wouldn't that mean the earliest it would be available would be at midnight, the 15th?

 

The update could come out the 14th like an hour after the contest closes.

 

f this mp, at first keeps pairing with very high level blanca, than very laggy matches with freezes, so 9 losses in a row and because i quit freezing matches - 3 rq, f great.

 

Sorry, about the Vega loss, i played Akuma actually. I just wanted to pick random for once and got him.

I still mainly play Guile=)

Hopefully update tomorrow, with some extra costumes or something.

I would be one happy man if the update contained T.Hawk and Fei Long, with Evil Ryu being hidden, as Akuma.

 

Yep, I believe they'll be coming as In-App-Purchases. And no, unfortunately there will be only two new characters :/
