Make sure Khoipro doesn't quit on anyone. That guy has a rep. Good players you've got though. This is turning into TA v. the world. Haha. And we'll probably going into it without four of our best players (TenOnez, Squall2002, Ken Ken and Inferno). That said, I think we're up for the challenge.

i played ken ken last night and he left after a close 1 game! Took my bp and ran away! haha. Anyways, even without those awesome 4, we still have a lot of greats like Psxsquall, Harley and Shane playing. don't worry about us old-retired folks getting back in...my peskiness will be ready by tourney time! That little Punk Khoiboa/Khoipro, pisses me the hell off. His punk ass always gets lucky enough to run into me when Im not playing my Mains, he always takes this opportunity to troll with his Cammy/Honda. I think hes Jepa too, I hope I get paired with that idiot.
From a guy who plays 20+ characters: S tier: sagat, bison, gief, viper, ryu, guile, cammy. Sagat is argubly the best since he has good close, mid and far range games. Tiger knee pressure is nice and strong air counter game. However lowobility and can get poke low badly. Can be a turtle or a rush down. Bison is very strong with several options such as good cross over jumps, armor breaker with psycho crusher and sciossor kicks (not armor breaker but it has two hits). To win bison u gotta push him back and punish when he has no meter. I think bison plays best at semi aggressive/counter. Good anti air with stand p, not many bisons use that enough. Gief is a crazy comeback character, a few grabs then ko. Many giefs do not use normals enough, his normals are just as great. Strong wake up pressure on opponent. Best to use aggressively. Viper is a top notch character, she has ALL her tools, if u think she doesnt have enough then you are not that good with her. Viper to me is just as painful as guile. Many options to name a few, but too many goodies can be confusing at times. The combination of super jump burn kick is a pretty safe option to escape pressure. Many great posible combos into ultra. Ryu is a fb based char, his game sorta comes with fb. Therefore a smart ryu knows how to throw fbs. Excellent to use as defensive and counter, can be good with offensive style too. Good anti air dp and several combos into ultra. Safe landing after ex tatsu while standing. Guile is great and kinda op only to use as defensive/counter. His sonic + anti air is just too ridiculous, almost too hard for non fb characters to get in. A smart guile knows his sonic range. And anti air is to slowly drain u out. Guile has a super strong air game including safe jump, safer jump with k, air throw, several ways to anti air. Also he builds meter quickly. If u are an advanced guile u can incorporate combos into ultra quite easily, of course it takes some skills. Good mobility. Hard to see the weakness of guile especially played as defensive. Cammy is good since she has many options. Excellent mobility and non-charged char meaning can pressure with instant specials. Her game is good when u incorporate and mix up with her speed. Also cammy can play as defensive thanks to her mobility. Several combos posible and decent if not above average damage. Cross up with dive kick is a problem for many charged character. However players who main cammy will have hard time against turtlers cuz they cant abuse sp on, solid cammys know how to use ex dive kick.
That's what I like to hear man. As for Ken Ken, he's been active lately. I posted on his profile but my message got buried very quickly so I just re-posted to see if he ever saw it. Ten0nez is definitely sitting this one out and Squall and Inferno just aren't very active anymore so I'm assuming they're out too. So did you get the replay? I love watching Sims beat Cammys.
I don't think they're the same player. Jepa still plays. He switched from Honda to Cammy (his Cammy is nowhere near as good as his Honda was). As for Khoipro1, I've always assumed he's a different person than Khoiboa. I don't think the latter has ever quit on me. I beat Khoipro1 awhile back and got the replay. He ragequit at the end of our rematch and I now quit against him on the V. screen. I very much dislike playing known rage quitters.
Bison has no anti-air, doesn't do as much damage as he used to, and has a tougher time without meter. How would he be top tier over Sagat or Ryu who can both SRK>FADC>Ultra for big damage and little effort, plus have tons of great moves at their disposal? Viper's up there too. She does big damage and has lots of setups for her ultra. The fact that she takes skill means nothing in terms of tiers. If she's got more options than most, which she does, she belongs top tier. Blanka and Honda I agree with. They have no solid game plan against several characters other than "try shit and see what happens." Chun I dont know, but I think Abel is better than people think he is. His main weakness is the lack of a good anti-air though. If Guile could FADC>Ultra, I could see him being overpowered. But as it is, his ground game's been nerfed due to the double sweep being punishable between sweeps and lack of any really good reliable ways to land his Ultra. Akuma has many more options available to him and a lot more ways to land an Ultra than Guile does. He does more damage and has a more reliable zoning game. Guile's a great character no doubt, but you have to take options into account, and Akuma just plain has more of them. Playing KoF now? Sweet dude! We should get some games of that in! In other news, I'm not sure if I'll be able to do the tourney or not. I guess I just don't have enough space on my phone to install Volt and I really don't want to have to delete KoF to install it. I've deleted pretty much everything I can and it's still not enough. F*cking 8GB phone. Why on earth would they even make those anymore? >_<
