I think it's even less than that if you get it used actually. I dunno. I'm really going to be trying to focus on Guilty Gear when it comes out, but I figured if I could play a few of you guys on AE and my brother too maybe it'd be worth picking up. Is DD still active? I always saw TA as a hub. I think regardless of what teams we're on we at least have TA in common.
Once I get my moves and everything all sorted out, I'd love to join one of these tourneys. Seems like really good fun!

He's the biggest turtle I've faced on Volt (at least against Sim). He'll be a tough matchup. I saw him flipping out on Ken Ken's profile a couple days ago. Seemed a bit classless but I don't know if he had a legit reason to be so pissed.

Why do people cheat and abuse akuma? All they will do is move to the other side of three screen and do the hadoken thing. -_- someone, please explain? lol
That's not 'cheat and abuse', that is a valid tactic. Its called zonning. If people are 'abusing' fireballs, just jump. When you jump, if they uppercut you, do a safe jump. As simple as that. There is no right or wrong of playing Akuma or any other chars.
Actually throwing fireballs endlessly is spamming. Zoning involves a component of keeping your opponents out of your zone or rather just putting them at a distance you are comfortable with. At a basic level this involved just anti-airing attempts to get in or teleporting away, but really should involve judicious use of pokes and footsies. Also wedia, safe jumps are after a knockdown and are extremely rare. I would suggest using combinations of neutral and empty jumps and changing your jump in angle to bait people's reactions
Well according to infamous, it sounds like he got zoned. Spamming/zoning are all valid strategies. It doesn't matter if a person fireballs all day, if it helps him to win, why not.
