1) in knockdown situations and it's not a cross over, just block or teleport away. But be quick with your anti-air or else most kens and Ryus will just continue jumping towards you. My suggestion is back up a little and do a standin kick, psycho crasher, or teleport towards him. This usually screws up their jumping game. 2) You should not stay on land that much. Bison has one of the easiest cross overs, just be careful of the direction in case your crouch-back becomes fwd-back and you do a sliding kick instead of a crouch kick charge into knee press.
@capcom COME ON GUYS! I live in Germany now - no contests for US? And seriously, my US residence is Florida - so I'm not allowed to enter the contest anyhow, because it's void there. FFS. : ( With all the guesses of "Deejay" and "Akuma" it only hurts more.
Haha, I'm always miffed when contests are U.S. and not Canada. Jeeze. Seriously, some of these guys have never even heard of Volt, why would you suggest a character like Elena? She's not even IN SSFIV, it'd be nearly impossible to bring a character like that in. I'm really hoping on that "reserved" slot being the one for this contest character. Perhaps Capcom was smart enough to realize you could find the answer out pretty quick by having a peek through the files and seeing the slots, so they covered themselves by "Reserving" the one slot. Seems like the most popular guesses (aside for the morons who are picking characters who are ALREADY in the game) Juri, Adon, Ibuki, T. Hawk and Dan! Haha, who'd have guessed those would be the main picks. I really hope for T. Hawk since, as I've said before, he's my main in the console/Arcade versions of SF (ever since Super Turbo), and also having Hawk included would mean that Volt would be the closest I'll ever get to having a GREAT portable version of Super Turbo in my pocket. Dan is another Shoto (and CONTRARY to popular opinion in SSFIV /AE he's a VIABLE character who can actually WIN, unlike his Alpha series joke version) and would be a wasted slot in my opinion, because there's NO taunting in this game. Without taunting, Dan is pointless. That's his WHOLE stick is taunting like a jack ass, his Super is even called the "Legendary Taunt"! Juri is... Well , she seems to be a popular request, even though I hate her. At least she's a rather unique playstyle, I just find her a bit boring to play. Ibuki... Haven't really liked her since... Ever. Mixup heavy, but again, seems to be really popular. Which is odd, since most of these requests are for characters you RARELY ever see online if you play SSFIV on consoles on PSN or XBL. Adon.. Is my second character aside from T. Hawk... And would be an interesting addition. Again, adding Adon wouldn't make a lot of sense, but hey, I wouldn't complain! Only four more days until that contest ends and we find out definitely who is the "mystery" character. Can't wait.
Is it really fair for both parties to get a zero for that round if one of them is showing interest for the fight to happen while the other one doesn't respond in any way? I think if the fight doesn't happen, it should end up as a no contest and end up with 1 pt just like a draw. And there should be a limit for a member to get no contests. If there's too many, they are out of the league/tournament?

Im guessing evil ryu, but that would be kind of stupid on capcoms behalf seeing as its in the game data. I would MUCH rather juri or adon, getting sick of all the shotos online. Next update i would like to see yun yang rufus or dudley
Capcom should include an option to turn off sound effects for haaaadoken, shrooyoken, and anything that sounds similar.
i pretty much hope just as V Kuolema , that the secrete char is the reserve slot found on the game files. because it just doesnt makes sense to put on a contest to guess a char that most of us are 95.9% sure that its E. ryu. now they could do it like this , add Fei and the secret char(here´s hoping 4 T.hawk) ,and as a bonus we get E.ryu by the same process as we got akuma ,by unlocking him.
That's what I was thinking since they're doing this contest. The way the Character select screen is, it'd also make sense. Since you have two slots for Fei + <Hopefully another character aside from E. Ryu> , and one of the random icons would become Evil Ryu.
Even though as everybody here says it is like 98% sure that it will be evil ryu since he is in the game files, if there will be 3 characters released (fingers crossed) here are my top 5 choices: 1.Juri(favorite character next to cammy ) 2.Ibuki(she is a girl-ninja, and really fun to play) 3.Yun (i really like his style of fighting, it kinda resembles wing chun) 4.Guy (the same as yun, his style) 5.Rose (her moves are original) or T. Hawk (he is so fun) and not to offend somebody else`s choices but i would really dislike them adding: oni, hakan, el fuerte, gouken oh, and i know i said this before, but it would be awesome if evil ryu has his second ultra( the one without hadouken)
Yea i agree. They wouldnt add one and not the other. Yang is soooo much fun to use, but I just feel dirty when I use yun. @RazvanGNR how could you not want feurte, its cooking time!!!!
If one person is showing interest but not the other, the person who's contacted me will get a point. There's actually a situation going on right now like that. But if I don't hear anything from either person, both of them get zero. I put the rules up over a week ago, if people can't play one match in a week's time, then there's nothing I can do. I'm actually thinking about booting people who don't do their matches and haven't contacted either me or the person they were supposed to play against. It ruins it for the people who DID get their matches done to have to wait for the people who don't.
yeah, thanks for the games, i am sure you can get your bps back. your bison is so nice, actually would be cool if next time you would play more him, so i can learn some more tactics and moves.
