not always. point blank akuma activates, if zangief tries to counter immediately, akuma wins. However, if there is space... zangief's normal throw can beat ultra/super... strict timing. I just did it in practice mode. EDIT 1 : zangief's ultra beats raging demon clean with proper timing (from a little distance) EDIT 2 : zangief's super can also beat it with proper distance and timing EDIT 3: gg's cap!!!! I'm uploading our ken vs ryu match cuz it look cool @ jepa ragequitting: a few weeks ago. but he doesn't rq against me nowadays (he just disconnects the moment my name pops up) @akuma's ultra being part of a combo: land a lvl 2 focus attack. That's the only way.
I like jump P, stand P, ruffian, fadc, f s.K, ex criminal upper But i dont know anythig of cody hehe i just did that in training
It better look cool! Jk, but just getball the cool looking combos. Like the infamous 11, 13, and 15, I believe. Those were sickkkkk. Akuma is vulnerable after his super. Pretty much a well timed anything can beat it, as long as it can hit a standing opponent. I wonder if you can throw Auma out of his super.
JePa posted on my profile to say he didn't RQ. I guess I can give him the benefit of the doubt but he has a very low completed match ratio. I did always enjoy matches against his Honda. Not sure why he gave him up for Cammy.
Akuma Reset What do you guys think of this Akuma reset? Is it viable? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gRw1OjQOLqE&feature=youtu.be
It is pretty good if you dont do it too often, the opponent might expect it, focus it or block, try this better, after the reset, instead of dive kik, try the command grab in the air, and or the air punch then when you touch ground grab them if they block or you miss
I can't say I recall ever seeing that one in an online match. I don't play Akuma but it seems solid. People very likely get lazy and assume an SRK -> FADC -> red fireball after the hurricane kick. Does it do more damage than that standard move if you pull it off? And welcome to TA by the way. I think it's been awhile, but I'm pretty sure I recognize your name.
I quite like that. Could work well as either a frame-trap (damn high priority dive-kick) or send someone's SRK in the wrong direction. Have you had a chance to test this in friendlies?
I tried it in friendlies but lag makes it hard for the c.hp to connect and the demon flip kick sometimes whiffs because of lag too. But on a really good connection, the reset does work most of the time.
Those messages are the only reason I still play this game By the way Dude you need to do a guide on Balrog. For a charge character he's incredibly hard to play effectively
Seekheart my gf was calling so the game started lagging every time i hit the end call so i quitted, didnt seem fair for me to win like that, want to repeat that?
Hasnt he always been a quitter? Or am I mixing him up with someone else? Either way, the less Honda players out there, the better IMO. Hell, I'd be okay with them taking him out of the game altogether. xD
That's i8600111's (top ranked Cody on psn, I believe) favourite Cody combo. I actually really dislike it in volt because you need to hit the crack kick really high making it unreliable. It's in fact easier to do in AE. Afaik, akuma's super/ultra are able to be grabbed in all sf games
Crossover resets dont work well in volt. Try Tatsu, st p (same damage as cr hp but better hitbox) demon flip into air strike/grab (instant land), then super
Or after tatsu, S.Hp, Ex Demon flip. The crazy thing is, if you land a combo, you'll have another bar of meter to reset them again.
