I disagree. His overhead isn't even needed in AE and even after the buff doesn't get used much. Its comboability is useless since you new to catch someone standing and not blocking with your sloooow move. Even in volt cody has nice block strings and a good tick throw to open up opponents Look who came out of the woodwork! Whatta troll.... Guile has an overhead. Codyhas too many good normals for him to have them all. Don't start the divekick too high and don't be too predictable with it.
Interesting question that. I think Viper (like proper Akumas and Yun) has one of the highest Offensive capabilities in the game so she is RARELY out played. I think solid defense is the first step....I wanna hear what the others think.
She is. The problem with the defense thing, is that she also does a good job at chipping. You have to do a strange mix of "Tag" with Viper. Know when to touch and when to run. With Yun? Oh man. That's a horrible matchup. You just have to be really careful. She hits so hard and poor Yun can't take that much abuse before he's stunned. Yun has to be cautious and know when to strike and when not to strike. Sometimes, I try to catch Vipers with a jumping kick when she's mid flight. That's to try to prevent a burning kick crossup and to give me a little space.
Wondering if someone has the Steam version of AE.....been trying to level up a few characters in the training room recently but its been hard due to just getting acoustomed to using a stick. Let me know about some casuals sometime...

Late dragon kicks (double upkicks) beats flame kicks, if you time it right. You get that little window of start-up invincibility.
