any tips for the 8th Vipers challenge? i tried to do it many times but still it does not work. the super misses always. does not matter in the corner or not. also watched the video on youtube and it looks like i am doing it right.
At least when you hit him he knows he's been hit, though... I don't remember this one causing me much trouble but, judging by the amount of comments I've read about it, I suspect I managed to fluke it (wouldn't be the only one... ). No other tips than keep trying, sorry...
DoctaMario, the disconnects were on my side. The first time, it was a phone call before the match started. The second one when the match was over, it was a text...

I noticed some lag, so I presume you are using Display Recorder as well? What about sound effects as I know DR doesn't record sound. I usually channel mine to my Mac and mix it up using iMovie.
Thanks. Haha. I actually play terrible in a Viper mirror match. But I'm always up for some matches if you like. Recorded the video with jailbreak app Display Recorder and the sound with an mp3 player that has line-in recording, then joined the two with a video editing program. Yep. Display Recorder. The actual match was as smooth as butter, though. Similar method for the sound, as mentioned above.
KoF got updated today. Got me psyched for the upcoming SF update! Spent the afternoon practising with T Hawk, but took a detour and played some E. Ryu (just to get refamiliar with him). Love his playstyle over Akuma. If he's the one brought with Fei, he'll be a ton of a fun. Admittedly, the only difference in game he'll have over Akuma in this limited controlled version is his Heel stomp move... Ah well! I do love how all you hear when playing with E Ryu is "DIE! I'll send you straight to hell!"
Hopefully he'll have his SSFIV:AE hadouken or shoryuken ultra, rather than a raging demon ultra. RD simply isn't that much fun, and I'd much rather set up an awesome combo and finish with a juggled ultra. While the damage faces diminishing returns, it's still just freakin' awesome and fun, and that's what it is about.
i have seen this, but that first ground stomp in vipers super just misses ryu, opposite to that video, maybe very precise timing for jump and kick or for super is needed.
funny, really tried to do the same again and again and then it works. that vipers challenge with super. so now one challenge with zangrief and makoto left and three with honda. well really fu hundred slaps.
