Do any of the sim users (Ken^2, Jibba jr, YD) do resets with ultra? Ultra, yoga spear, grab seems like fun
Not a Main Dhalsim player, but practicing. Never tried that. Maybe by accident, but not on purpose. That seems useful. Also, FA, Cr.MK reset, Flame, choose: continue to hit, OR fadc back dash. Pretty nice. Also, FA, Dash Forward, Cr.MK, Yoga Blast, Super. Blast should whiff and super will still combo. Does NOT work with Cr.MP.
The problem with this is the opponent has to get hit with the ultra on the ground in order to reset. If you use the ultra as an anti-air, reset is not an option afterward. Also, if you use the ultra after a focus crumple, it treats the opponent as airborne. If I'm not using it as an anti-air, I usually use the ultra after a throw + backdash to set up a high low mixup (either neutral jump yoga snipe or cr hp), which leaves me out of position for a reset. So basically, good luck getting your opponent to walk into a giant fireball.
The timing is so tough. I used to do ultra on wakeup and then go in with spear but the ultra rarely connects. On top of that, you can't grab while they're blocking the ultra so you're really dealing with such a small window that it becomes pretty impractical. If you do ultra as an anti-air, it's still hard to get up in the air and use spear within the ultra's timeframe. If you find a practical use for it, please let us know.
Rememer this is a demo version they are using not the full release so ill keep my hopes up that we will get many more characters, wifi, bluetooth play, and online ranked hopefully if its not like sf4 that they started with a vanilla version then realesed the other one one year later
Agree! Why do u want to throw when opponent after blocking Yoga Catastrophe?? If you time it right, you can break guard with Lvl 3 Focus Attack! Huge risk though! Players can counter it if read...

Yeah! That's what I go for. Also, reset. Dhalsim: FA, Cr.MK, reset, Flame. You can choose to fadc dash back before it hits.
Good point. Even despite the cheating and stolen (fake) trophies, you can scroll through the roster on TAAC and find the greatest players on practically every category and every character. We can all retire happily

We always seem to catch each other somehow lol. You still mix me up from time to time, so I have to stay on my A game lol. We have some pretty intense matches too. On the intense matches note, I ran into a Dhalsim player that goes by the name "Olleh_WARP", hoping someone else here has played him before as well. This guy... He's pretty insane. 3k Dhalsim, I brought him down to 2.9k, but he's prob back to 3k since it's been... what.. 4 mins since we stopped playing and he's bodying some poor soul in ranked somewhere. Oh... My... ^@#%@#%... Goodness. This had to be one of the craziest, and worst, set of Dhalsim matches for me ever. I don't mean worst as in it was bad, no, I mean worst as in, this dude just about made me burst a blood vessel trying to keep up with his mixups. He definitely knows the Rog matchup. I'm uploading 3 of our matches out of our set of 14 now. This Dhalsim was unreal. I generally thought I had the Dhalsim matchup figured out, but then I came across this guy who throws in Yoga Spears at the right time. I had to actually think AHEAD of what I wanted to do to keep up with his teleport mixups. He really gets into your head to win. Hope you guys check at least one of them out. Also, I've been trolling Friendlies by adding people to either: The Divekick Zone or B-I-N-G-O. By Divekick Zone, I mean, pick Yun and just dvekick over and over and over until they react or figure it out. I got one guy really good with it, but he DC'd after I won the match. B-I-N-G-O is repeated Zonk Knuckles without regard for anything else. Am I gonna do it? No? We- BINGO. These are both such satisfying ways to troll, especially if you win because of them. Exactly! TouchArcade did win the first ever Tourney on BN when they started and were the first team to ever take the Platinum trophy. We all put in work on this team.

Just played around 16 games with PV. God he's great at the 50/50 mixup. Reminds me of Apprunner. I know his setups (and more setups than he does) but he's so damn good at guessing/reading. It doesn't help that I do awfully against guiles sweep in general
So the wife finally retired? This is true! I feel fortunate to have found this place and that there were so many great players that did too! One thing he does that always amazed me was his seemingly psychic Flash Kicks. I'd go in thinking, "Nah, he ain't gonna.....OH SHIT HE DID!!" and eat a FK. People give him shit and he does brag a big much, but he really is a great player.
PV is awesome. He is great at the mind effing... You, him, and SLRC all have very different but effective styles. It's too bad AC isn't more competitive in the rankings. I think only you farm
