nashberry, I'm sorry about responding so late, but I didn't take the comment that Clon put on my profile seriously. I tried to respond to you then, but it wouldn't go through. Thanks for being encouraging though. I lost fair and square and all I can do from there is just keep going on and doing what I do which is try to do my best and stay a good, and mostly humble, opponent for people.
1111111111! Those were some of the most intense matches I've ever had in volt. I always heard people talking about your Yun and Fei Long... it's all true!! My fingers were tingling at the end of the first match. And when you were using your Balrog, I would get huge brain farts because I was amazed at your execution. The (cr. jab, st.jab)x2, straight was just too impressive. I hope I didn't disappoint with my Bison.
Heck no you definitely didn't disappoint with your Bison. I've seen you hit the 4k BP area before, so I already knew to expect a challenge against your Bison. I've fought you before, but that was a long time ago. You are very good at spacing. I can tell, because you would put me in a corner and inch back so that I have no choice but to guess to get out of there and you would keep me pressured with scissor kicks. Definitely kept me on my toes each match. I ended up getting frustrated at some parts because I was stumped on safe ways to get out of some situations. Thank you for the compliments! I try to keep my execution decent. Glad I was able to give you some intense matches.
Well, I practiced that combo a lot cuz I liked the way it played out, so I have it down pretty well. I like that you can also FADC the FK if you've got the meter to burn and want to put that GHK at the end.
TenOnez did you play ForeverClon? What was the score of that set? You guys need to upload these replays, ive had enough of seeing mediocre replays making it to no.1 in replay rallys. You guys can run that shit if you tried a little....I'm looking at you too Fffan.
I have a replay on my jap list vs Clonforever. He's a good sagat. Not squall2002 tier, but pretty damned good. Probably the best ive played on jap server
Good games wediafom Fun matches as always, your Sagat has reached "that level" already FYI, there is nothing wrong with the way you play, valid strategy
Batman rules that BN scene. As for the score, out of 21 matches, we went 10/10. If I remember correctly, Bison-Balrog was 3-6 haha (correct me if I'm wrong, TenOnez). I'll post some of the replays later.
Ggs brother! Sorry to respond late but I had fun as well. Thank you for the complement. I was surprised with the way you handles your Ryu, nicely done I take he is your new main? Thanks for the vote of confidence Drogba. People like you, Apprunner, beast, Mooken, Vecotyn and few others don't mind my play style. Thank you.
Thanks for the games jibba. Well played. In learning all my other matchups, I seem to have slipped in my matchup against dhalsim. Any tips, suggestions, comments, rude hand gestures? What do you think of the matchup? Who does it favour? Is the st p viable at stopping those pesky air arms? What aspect of guile annoys you the most in the matchup?
Very good games man. Thanks for the invite. I think the matchup slightly favors Sim, but I have definitely found Guiles that give me fits. One thing that I noticed is that you were kind of in between all out aggression and turtling. I think Guiles do better in the matchup when they pick one or the other. While turtling is not fun, it can definitely work against Sim if done right because it forces Sim to go on the offensive and many aren't good at it. I actually didn't realize that Guile's short uppercut could beat out Sim's jump punch so well, so that's a very good option. A lot of my game is jumping toward Guile and baiting out moves. If he FKs, I can teleport and st. p while he's recovering. If he tries something else or if I see him not charging his FK, I can teleport behind and j. k or j. p into a combo. For me, the toughest time I had adjusting during our matches was when you were very aggressive and coming at me with jump kicks. I am not confident enough in my anti-airs or focuses with Sim so I would usually end up teleporting back (although when I learned to expect the jump in, I was able to work in a couple yoga blasts). The best Guiles abuse this by knowing where I'll end up and hitting me with jump kicks while I'm recovering from my ground teleports (the better Ryus also do this). You did a good job keeping me away from my air teleports, which is a big part of my game but I was fortunate enough to squeeze in a combo into my super twice. I'll give it some more thought from Guile's perspective since I've been using him a lot lately myself (he was one of my other SFII characters back in the day) but I hope some of this was helpful. And on a side note, you had some really pretty combos that I wish I could pull off.
Cheers, thanks for the post. I've found I'm having a really hard time chasing down dhalsims. Especially the better ones, they either know how to block and aren't too reliant on teleport on wakeup. I guess I fell into a bad habit of trying too hard to hit jumping arms with flash kick and I should stick to st p
GENTS I know how OnePeace farms TP so intensively !! I've just replicated the process at home last night over a micro time frame.. PM me if you want to know how.. I am sharing this with ONLY Senior Members of TA.. It's because I know this has no use for faking your creds (and you guys have integrity), but at the same time I'm sharing to deflate OnePeace (and clarify why Psycho's team is so pissed).. I could go public with this, but it'll really mess up BN.. Also, NASHBERRY was a witness to this experiment last night (he may not realize it till I explain)..
I'm curious, pm me. I have no need for it because I think BP is useless (unless you are saying this is a TP hack).
