I corner right after scarlet terror, super AND very fast press the direction on the pad of the respecting corner so the super beggings next to the flying opponent, the just grab him real fast > sp or < sp depending on the corner Im not the master in this but ive done it in the training room
Jeez, just had 2 rqs on jap server. First was 3.3k akuma called zhanghan. Apparently The Xion knows him? The 2nd was a 2.5k Honda.
HAHAHAHAHAHA! At first I saw this and was like: O_O What did I do?? Bison's got one of the best wakeup games in SF4. You can either EX Headstomp, EX Knee Press, low short kicks into a combo, teleport, etc. Like FFfan said, Psycho Crusher is probably his WORST wakeup option, but Bison's wakeup is a big guessing game for the opponent, which is why it's one of the best. Oh snap guys, get the streamers ready, it's party time! So does this mean you're not gonna play KoF anymore?
"HELLO BOYS!!!...I'M BACK!!" (independence day for the cheesiness) Exams are over and the season of beating may now (re) commence. Who wants soooooome!?!? Also if you want to see an awesome Sakura replay (I lost but who cares the quality is there), check my replay vs Slrc (Vega). Send me an invite!!!!!
Great games FeliX, that last one looked like an Akuma combo video lol!! Is it ok if I upload one or two matches?
Upload any that you want to! Good games. : D I think I need to be more aggressive against your Sakura with Abel, because I noticed that when I was oppressing, you had a tough time. But when I backed off a bit... then the hurting came. And I did too many attacks on your wake up, while you had EX. I have to rethink my strategy. : D
I'm specifically looking at moves that can Aa, moves that someone would try to mash out when someone jumps in on them at wakeup
Psycho crusher on wakeup sucks even when they do a jump in. They can do a empty jump and have a party while you try to get that psycho crusher out. The reason why I didn't complain about the ex version is because it has the invincibility frames to make up for it's horrendous startup (even the ex version is situational b/c if it's blocked then get ready to eat damage too).
It's stuff like that, that I'm testing for OS safe jumps. Since Everyone is screaming I'll remove the normal crusher from the table.
I'm not sure how far out it can hit, but Bison's uppercut (DF+P) is a pretty good anti-air. Knee Press is also not a bad AA. I've used it that way before, especially the EX version. If you time it right, you can even get in both hits on an aerial opponent.
EX Scissor Kicks is 13 frames, so 1 frame faster than EX Psycho Crusher. But again, the invincibility saves it.
J. Sabta used to rq. Hes legit now. I play ryu and ken. Ryu used to be my main, but im really training my ken. now training with Apprunner, Heif-37, 0-FeliX-0. We should play sometime!
Hey FeliX Sensei, need some directions in my travels. I've embarked on a holy quest to beat (or be thoroughly beaten by) the great players in volt. I keep meeting noobs on ranked though, and equally noobish fellows on frendlies. Literally got to 3k without ever encountering something decent to spar with. Feel like I'm lacking some incentive to keep fighting at this rate. One guy lost 30 matches in a row (he was truly the worst player I've fought) and then decided that wasn't enough and lost another 15. As a general rule I never quit, so I tried giving him a chance ...lol Anyways, I'm hoping that I'll get a thorough beating again sometime soon so as to prevent me from boring myself to death... If anyone wants to spar, I'm usually available between 2340 till 0200, -5Gmt (Miami). Add me on GC; I main with Yun, second Cammy, third is Ken. Love fighting against (in sequence): M. Bison, Akuma, Makoto, Blanka, Abel. Hate: Sagat, Ruy, Dhalsim, Guile
Go to Chatzy. The active volt players go there and issue challenges then talk shit afterwards. . Great fun!
Theoretical question: if you were to learn a new char what percentage of time would you devote to playing friendlies/ranked/training room/against CPU/other (looking up stuff)?
