The connection was a bit choppy though. Empty jump after sweep I know can't be punished by uppercut (4 frames). Since a jumpin attack can be punished, this must mean that you get hit in the 4 landing frames, but the jumping attack on the Abel (see above) connects like a true OS safe jump, implying jumping attacks make you airborne longer Can Felix, or anyone with experience in AE shed some light? An alternative explanation is the 4 landing frames doesn't work like in AE. That would explain why I get punished by cammies jumping at me...
So with further testing it seems if you have an empty jumpin that can't be punished by uppercut (4 frame punish) but does get punished when a jumping attack is used, this is a (true?) OS safe jump against characters without a fast uppercut attack with good in invoking frames (off the top of my head, Abel, Sakura(?), Cody, makoto(?), bison). I don't think this is how it works on AE, I will need to check with friends that know more. But coming up with jumpins that fit the above criterion is pretty easy and are very good at baiting uppercuts and works rather well with lag

I know with Abel that after a tornado throw, you are conpletely safe against ryu's srk and pretty much everything else. If you try a jumping attack, it hits you. That's why focus attacking as an anti air can be an option. I think if tried it with ivwshane's blanka a few times and it worked.
Throws beat out abel's jump after tornado throw though. You can do two forward dashes after throwing then neutral jump. Edit: Or two forward dashes then ex tornado throw to go through grapples. Or even backdash.
I never thought this game would be successful on iOS because you only have a virtual gamepad. Boy was I wrong. 2831 pages! I guess I should give it a shot.
