Is it really that much better? I mean, I prefer Street Fighter's gameplay overall, but Volt is laggy as hell and there's way too many ragequits.
It's good no doubt, there is litterally little to no BS in that game, at least nothing compared to the crap that goes down in Volt. But even with that said, I still consider Volt to be the better game.
5k? So your either lying, or you hacked, or cheated, or ran into someone with hacked BP. There is the possibility that you did it legit, but that would require either: Never losing any games after 4.5kBP, or only running into people with 4k+BP every single match till 5k. I think the more likely scenario is the first few options... lol Glad your out of retirement. Get better and challenge everyone here! We could use another good Ryu to play against.
Starting Monday you now have 7 days to complete your assigned match, and every Sunday I will Send to losers/Eliminate all those who failed to complete their match. The only exceptions to this rule are people who send me a PM and only a PM with a legitimate reason stating why they cannot play in the allotted time and ask for an extension, to balance this the Maximum extension I will give will be 3 days-No exceptions.
I wouldn't be too sure Heif, You do know TenOnez is at 5k+ right? He also tells me PsxSquall did it before him as well.
As I mentioned all possible scenarios, correct me if I am wrong and please insert another possible scenario to get to 5k. It is very possible, but like I said the only legit methods are: Never losing any games after 4.5kBP, or only running into people with 4k+BP every single match till 5k. Maybe if you run into 4k fighter and they go 30 sets with you and you win every single one... other than that.... I said 4.5k, but in reality, once you hit 4.1k, you only gain 1 on most matchups and lose 50-200 per loss.
Getting up there is really hard. At 3k BP you get about 20 from someone at 1.7. At 3.5k+ you are getting 1bp from most games. And then suddenly, you play like an idiot and lose 800bp
8 bp? More like 100 if loose Im currently at 3400 the highest ive ever been Wasnt easy but it can be done ima try go for 3.5k and stop, Ill try to improve my skills in my mind games then try again to see if can reach 4k
Lol, yeah. Missed some zeroes. I've lost 1k bp on my jap account. Went from 3.8k to 2.8k. wheeeeeeeee
Its definitely a preferential thing, I prefet KOF on console as well, I like the style, the overall balance, and the skill it takes to actually play. Plus Rage Quitters get 15 point loss, and you get an auto 5 points, so yea you wouldve gotten like 15-20 for winning, but them losing wouldve only lost maybe 8-9 points, and people who rage quit on me are pointless because they are gonna lose less (I actually gained a point when I lost to the former number 1) I am a huge SF Fan, but I dont think Capcom did its fans really any service with Volt... I still play the console AE, but I dont play online, I play only competitively
I think Volt is a fine Street Fighter port. To me there are always differences between fighting games and it comes to personal preference. I have friends that play Tekken while I play SF and they prefer their game. I prefer SF over KoF because in my opinion KoF's combo system has more emphasis on mashing. Drive cancel and HD compared to FADC mean you really need to mash out those cancels, especially those ones where you cancel on the first hit. FADC gives SF a more relaxing rhythm where I can juggle a bit more.
I definitely agree with you there... KOF does have that Mashing Emphasis, that SFXT had in my opinion, but thats only for the iOS port, because KOF on Console, its impossible for some of these mashers to do ANY of those combos they do on iOS on a console... But I do run into a few legit good fighters every now and then. But like I said its preference, I believe it takes more skill to do HD Combos, and Drive Cancels right than on SF where one Ultra with Zangief is a death sentence, and Sagat's super over powered Tiger Uppercut, like Felix said.
Not counting that fadc brings a hell lot of options depending on the character you are using Every character has a diferent style in SF In kof all chars are pretty much the same in my opinion All of them have a follow up after an attack so you can be pro with just about any of them
Well play akuma or guile or ryu = zanguief nightmare And against sagat well any character you play that you know well can beat sagat just play mind games In a real fight with any of us here in TA forums mashing ultra means you die hence mashing ultra doesnt work with any of us here
Can you? Im quite sure I stand by my previous like 5-6(now) of you can probably beat me. And to those I give them their due respect, they learned it, and they earned the respect to be able to beat me. However, comma, I left this SF community a long time ago, and even picking it back up, I still maintained my own, and still pulled a couple tricks out my bag, so by all means, if you think you can, try me, you win you win, ill give you that respect, but if you can't don't hype someone up who can, because im pretty sure I know like 20 or so who arent even in TA anymore who could beat you as well... Also note how most who joined before you remembers me... Back before Volt got all these whiny guys... "OOO such and such can beat you" "Probably, but when you can, come at me" Respect to DoctaMario, Mooken, Hiryukage,Apprunner, Police Vietnam, And the rest of you original, and good stuff with getting better, even Felix...
