Sorry, I was going to give you tips on how to beat Blanka with Yun, but I accidentally refreshed and I am not in the mood to write it anymore. I HAD A FREAKING HUGE SET OF PARAGRAPHS!

But, in short, spam the palm on wake up, feint it when they have meter or ultra, use Shoulder - Lunge Punch on their Blanka Balls (because it will work if your shoulder is fast enough), and Cr. LK x2 - Target Combo 1 - Shoulder them (I invented this), because it is a blockstring.

    TIER LIST (by 0-FeliX-0)

    S Tier:
    Sagat
    M. Bison (Dictator)
    Guile

    A+ Tier:
    Zangief
    Ryu
    C. Viper

    A Tier:
    Vega (Claw)
    Balrog (Boxer)
    Ken
    Dhalsim
    Abel

    High Middle:
    Cammy
    Blanka

    Middle:
    Akuma
    Yun
    E. Honda

    Decent:
    Dee Jay
    Makoto

    Bad:
    Fei Long
    Chun-Li
    Sakura
    Cody

Please give me suggestions on this. I realized that I have been a fool for thinking Yun's low tier. You see, I kept judging him by the higher characters, but he has the advantage over many of the lower characters.

It's easy to land Yun's Ultra/Super. Mind telling me how exactly he played? If you can, that is.

I disagree with Sagat being God-Tier only because on Volt his recovery from moves is horrible...sure he can dish out some damage, but he builds meter kinda slow, and he is easily punished... I think thats a result of SSFIV before AE buffed him again, but Sagat is way too easily punished from being blocked.

I also disagree with Akuma being Mid Tier... Maybe A-, This is because o Volt, his double kick is easily spammable, and leads to the most amazing 1f links imaginable... On AE He can't do them that easily, but on Volt, any body who can spam K can do it... He does however have the worst damage ever, but unblockable Ultra thats a bitch to punish for the average player, instant 30 perecent bnb, and not to mention the only character with an Air Fireball, that on EX is hard to punish...

    Hum de hum hum.
Sagat is God tier. No doubts. His zoning is top notch, he has the strongest single fireball, his uppercut is superpowered, his Tiger Knee is super safe and armor breaking, his Ultra does too much damage, his St. HK is too good, and it is super easy to do kara moves.

    Play Squall2002 or berserk_2nd.

Also, while this stuff may not sound like a lot, it gives him an advantage over a ton of the cast.
Also, with his zoning and all that, he can get up to two bars no problemo. All his Tiger Knee chip, Cr. MK pokes...

Anyways, I'm going to edit the tier list because Apprunner and DROQQA are helping me fix it.

Also, I see that you edited your post. Yes, Akuma is going up on the list.

Oh, yes I have. I usually take the majority of the matches, but he destroyed me in our last few.

I killed Squall2002 if thats the same Squal from a while back in the earlier tourneys, I could be wrong, forgive me if I am.... and Yes his uppercut is superpowered Ill give you that, but I DEFINITELY disagree about zoning... NO ONE is better at zoning then Dhalsim, and his pokes are great, but thats all he really has, nd if you cant get in to use them, what are you gonna do? Tbh Sagat isnt garbage, but he isnt on the same scale as Dictator is... I give him A Tops, and thats being generous, but not God-Tier...

And I had to rep Akuma XD lol Only for Volt though, he isnt that good in AE like he is on Volt, they buffed him lovely... But I gave Volt up a while ago, got sick of scrubs coming in and mashing random ultra's and rage quitters with no punishments :\.

In a perfect world... Ryu would be God-Tier... And everyone would bow at his fist... ::pARADISE::

Honda really are that low you think?

I know not a lot use Honda... and besides a good dhalsim it actually isnt that easy to zone him out.

I would put gief as my second before Honda, but I have managed a lot of impressive victories with Honda and I find it strange that we don't see any 4k Honda's around.

99% of the matches that I win with bison, can also be won with my honda.. its funny to see them so far apart on the tier list.

Felix, I am sure you have tons of reasons why he is where he is, please share

Well. You know what? You gave up on Volt a while ago. Have you been practicing your skills? Nope. You fought Squall a while ago. He has learned. All of us have learned. I never said that Sagat is the best zoner. Dhalsim is a good zoner, yes, but Sagat is a good zoner as well. Thing is, he can shut down many characters better than Dhalsim. Sagat can handle close and long range with ease. Sagat is designed to handle any range, really. He doesn't have to get in unless he wants to.

I mainly put him there because of all the characters with projectiles. From my experience, it's pretty easy to keep him out that way. However, input from you would be helpful, I guess. After all, I don't main Honda, so if you could give me some advice, I'll gladly take it.

Personally, when I played Ken, it was so easy to keep a Honda player away, and poke him and all. If he decided to jump in, I'd either Shoryuken, Cr. HP, or Thunder Kick. If he decides to Headbutt, well, he'll be getting a Hadoken. I'd also backdash a bunch when I predicted a command grab, making him pretty easy.

We were discussing on chat, but to sum it up:

Honda should be moved up because he can handily take out Sagat and Dictator when used correctly. I am really suprised by the Sagat thing, but just from my experience, even playing some top sagats, Honda does well.

Projectiles are only an issue if your opponent is pro at it, and you have not the slightest clue on how to get in. Guile and Sim are the two toughest projectile characters for Honda. I have had 2 bad expreiences from DeeJay, but then again I rarely play him so its a new matchup.

I feel most of the people on this forum are well equiped in dealing with getting through fireball chaos, most new members ask that first question and we all have good unique advice on how to deal with it.

I did main zangief for a while and that was the toughest thing to learn, so I am sure some of that carried over to my honda use, but you all know my bison is on a much greater lvl than honda, yet I can still manage to snag a victory with Honda on most of the matchups I win with Bison..=

Have I been Practicing... hmm of course I have... and im quite sure you all have learned... But I can gurantee I can still get back in with old skills and hit 3K BP in a week, and not too many people here can beat me... MAYBE 4-5 of you yea, but I gave up SF for KOF, and I am still beast in SF, Not half as good as I am on KOF, but still beast... And anyone who remembers me here can attest to that...
