Duyster, all the combo challenges are fairly easy, except for Honda's last one.... that thing is so insanely brutal. My suggestion, SP off and just keep trying and trying and trying. Once you get burned out and frustrated, stop trying and play some online matches or something...come back to it again later and try again. Its not THAT difficult, but it does require percise inputs, and especially at the end... once you successfully link the slaps, punc, ex slaps, punch (at least for me) this is where I usually drop it. Again, no SP and just keep trying and trying and trying, once frustrated take a break and come back to it. What other challenges are giving you trouble? Specific numbers?
Play the CPU a lot before joining. Also play a lot of friendlies instead of ranked. you will get much better because you will play people more your speed. I play Ryu, and my only suggestion is keep it simple with Ryu and add more complexity when you start winning. Ryu should be all about how to best use low crouching kick - fireball bread and butter (BnB) combos and how to bait jump ins SRK. Use hurricane kick conservatively...too vulnerable if you miss. EX hurricane is safe though. hope you have fun and let me know if I can be of more help.
Thanks Cyrus. Yeah his stamina is the best, i had fun yesterday just walking and bulldozing through some noob Akumas weak fireball, and spend alot of time just trying to catch him. I finally catch him with a Super and its a big rush watching his health meter DROP, haha. Good payoff. I like that combo too, from the challenge mode: 3xjab-standkick-BF....I did not know EX Banishing Flat was a good wake up move, thanks. I will use stand punch more too. I will try to organize some Mr Zangief match up posts together and have myself a little Gief guide.
Akuma is mid tier in Volt. I think Gief kills him with SPD and Ultra. two hit death Strongest characters in Volt are Sagat, Ryu, Bison, and Viper. Gief may be up there too!
Watching replays HELPS Alot, practicing combos in training room, completing the challenges. This game has been out for a long time and since the battle network update players have been playing ranked matches like crazy so most know how to punish moves. When you learn how to punish most of the playing styles this gAme becomes alot fun. We all get pissed haha. PS. Try other characters until you feel you can truly dominate one of them Ryu is not the only character on the rooster
I tried that honda last challenge so many times (about 200 times), finally i got it then when my phone reset i was able to do it on the third try.

No no. . When I first played, the only really good Cammys were Snooper and Red Tiger. Now there are a ton of good players. We have to thank the original pioneers of Cammy. I still think she is mid/high but not the best tier due to her weaknesses against many of the characters. She has a bad rep for scrubbiness. Lol. Probabaly due to pesky players like me . Plus Xion thinks Cammy players are skill-less
You're doing it wrong. After the Genei Jin, you're supposed to Zesshou - Cr. MP x2 - St. K - Zesshou - repeat until you've got like no meter left. Then you do your Cr. LK x2 - TC 1 - Up Kicks.

Haha, no problem, it's okay. Good games Insaniity! Good games to you too FINIX! Sorry about leaving so early. This game has just.. Been laggy for me for a while. No matter what match now and that frustrated me. Both Ranked and Friendlies. Sidenote: I really get ticked off when I read "If you spam.. I quit", "If you turtle, I quit", etc as a person's comment. These are ridiculous excuses that basically say "If you don't play how I want you to play, I'm leaving". This is a fighting game and if you can't handle something or you choose to not want to take the time to figure a way around something, please find another game. You're obviously not prepared for this genre.

The worst are "Cammy, I quit" or something to that effect where they refuse to play a certain character. Weak. Lol.
