No worries. One good thing about viper is that on console versions its really hard to do some of her combos. This is kind of bypassed with the sp and ultra buttons. One combo you will have to practice with viper though is jumping hard punch-crouching hard punch-ex seismo-jump-burning kick-ultra/hard thunder knuckle. its a huge part of her game but the crouching hard punch-ex seismo takes some practice. A bad thing about viper though, which i mentioned in a post way back, is that in the console versions, her in air burning kick is such a good option on opponents wakeup as its really hard to tell whether or not it will cross up. this is killed by auto block. its not a huge deal though because most characters are missing a key element from their console counterparts. kens kara throw, cammys close mp and crouching lk, abels step kick-standing fierce, ryus solar plexus strike, the list goes on. alot of characters (including viper) dont have their overheads as well.
standing hard punch links to super but not ultra. try not to use his super though, his meter is better spent on EX moves. but with the crouching hard punch-ultra, what i do is tap the ultra button really quickly lol. it hits the opponent as they are falling down, not just leaving your elbow like super. Hmm... Not really played her - but I really hate fighting Cammy, so that's a good sign! I'll give her a go in training mode and against the CPU and see how she 'feels'. Cheers for the advice - and I may well come back to you for a boot camp!
Maybe when they say we released an update last week they meant we released an update of whats happening, not an app store update if you know what I mean. I do remember reading somewhere else that it was gonna be released mid september.

i think i already noe how 2 cross up but i still duno about the timing of jump kick/punch b4 anti air option for characters smtg like activate my punch/kick late so that i will hit the waking char b4 his anti air hit me
You know who I'd LOVE to see put into SF4 Volt? Q. There, I said it. Lol! I'd much rather see him than Dan as far as crazy/joke characters are concerned. Good games last night Mooken! You're a very thoughtful player. I always get the sense that there's a purpose behind every move you make and it's never out of desperation. We gotta do that again and play more next time.
I hope in this update capcom give Fei his first ultra Rekkashingeki (the one that finishes with a jump kick blow) , rather than his 2nd ultra Gekirinken ( this one finishes with a punch blow). His first ultra is longer and has more style
The Capcom article makes it sound like it's coming sooner rather than later, despite SRK.com saying mid-September. Although I wonder if there's going to be more than just Fei and possibly E. Ryu added with the way they're talking.
I hope we can get the update tomorrow or later for Fei Long and for Evil ryu, I guess we might need to wait
I've read mid-september so update will be realeased in that period! Maybe capcom will announce the next fighter that it might be evil ryu
