Hey, check it out. I made a video of my last multiplayer match.
This was basically it, frame for frame. Sorry, no sound:

    Pretty fast paced, right?

Is it just me or does the game look more blurry than the previous SF4? The buttons, menus, everything looks like they're too 'optimised'. The in-game graphics are more blurry as well, probably a trick Capcom does to hide the jaggy edge?

I usually don't complain about games, especially when they're $.99, but the multiplayer seems to average only a few frames per second. It'll run fine for maybe a moment, but then it freezes, then moves, then freezes, etc..

To pull off a move you have to time your thumbs so they move when it stops freezing. If it doesn't unfreeze long enough, you just bounce around like a moron.

It's worth buying for the improvements to single player and extra characters, but, holy crap, multiplayer needs some work right now.

    Edit:
Nevermind. I think i just played against people with slow connections.

Not sure what kind of internet connection you have, but I have played a bout 5 matches so far, without any noticeable slowdown.

I just quit on somebody, but I don't make a habit of it.

If you pick Sagat and do nothing but fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball after fireball, like the asshat I just played, I will quite.

It's actually working now. My connection is fine. I assume either the server was bogged down, or I just kept getting opponents with slow connections.

There are serious connection issues right now. It's been telling me my wifi isn't on so I can't accept challenges. When I try to start one my opponents end up disconnecting within the first round.

Hopefully it's not a bug and it's just the servers getting hammered by everyone sending challenges.

Hm, this seems like it could be all solved if SP assist was disabled for online play by default.

The rage quitters are real. I just had a guy lose four rounds in a row and he quite right as he lost the final time, so I didn't get credit for it.

Noob warning: How do I pull of moves that have 'charge' in them? Holding them back only seems to work sometimes, and other times I often hold them too long for my opponent to recover from a combo.
