Ouch, that must hurt a lot when you're on the right side with any character then. Btw I want to take a poll out of curiosity Would you guys rather have: 1 More characters 2 Second ultras 3 customizable colors (street fighter x tekken) 4 the ability to assign any move to a character (eg. Instead of h. Ruffian kick, i want light ruffian kick. Or maybe keep both and assign them to different buttons) EDIT: the moveset has to be the character own moveset though. No hadoken for gief.
Being able to FADC through fireballs seems like it would be a pretty important skill for Gief mainly because he's not mobile enough to be able to get around them as easily as other characters. Plus, I've never really seen a Gief player do that, so I'm sure you could catch some folks by surprise! How do I punch that into the replay locator? :/
Cyrus! A question. Do you use these? Double Lariat - FADC - EX Banishing Flat OR LATE HITTING Double Lariat/Lariat - EX Banishing Flat OR TRADE Double Lariat/Lariat - EX Banishing Flat This is a little finisher, or just some extra damage for the latter ones. I wouldn't recommend wasting any meter on FADC unless it's to finish the opponent off. EX Banishing Flat - FA(BACK)DC OR EX Banishing Flat - EX FA Level 1 - Back Dash These will probably bait higher level players into attacking. No promises, but this is a possibility, because I have seen NO Zangeif players other than myself do this. If you're sure that you're going to win your match, maybe you ought to experiment with this? Extra Question: St. LK | SPD Do you use this? Is it useful for you?
Have the JP keyboard selected and do it manually i suppose :/ I was kind of wondering that too.. BTW ive turned that on for the first time last week, it is cool how you navigate around on that thing...way different than US or other languages. Even have a set of crazy smileys..
Here are some replays with 桑畑三十郎 Reminder: Change your language to japanese in the app http://sf4iv-jp.capcom.jp/analytics/replay_download.php?r_id=20120422_13330435_296_F56F4637_rpdata&d= http://sf4iv-jp.capcom.jp/analytics/replay_download.php?r_id=20120312_18110322_433_1EFEC522_rpdata&d=
St Lk is rubbish. The st punch is much horrible and useful as it is very fast. You can totally chop Sim in the corner by it.( I almost spam the St punch when vs Sim) It gave much fear to the opponent. As for SPD, I dun get it why you ask me for it.
Definitely #2. That alone could change up the tierlist for the game quite a bit. While I'd like to see more characters added (I'd LOVE to be able to play as Gouken), I couldnt' see them doing that. #4 is interesting but I think Capcom's actually done a pretty good job of giving each character their some of their most effective moves. If that were the case, why not just employ a 6 button mode and give everyone ALL their moves. Thanks guys!
I update the replay yesterday. Look how he zone me. http://sf4iv-jp.capcom.jp/analytics/replay_download.php?r_id=20120422_13330435_296_F56F4637_rpdata&d=
Having watched that replay, I'll tell you what I think (mainly from a guile's perspective). Let me know if you think I'm out of line or whatever -Those replays are pretty much what happens with me vs gief. If gief gets in or punishes one mistake, it really sucks. -There are 2 main wakeup options for guile vs gief. Backdash or Flashkick FADC. The wakeup game is pretty miserable for guile. -I would look at jumping in with different moves. FBA doesnt often trade, but his kick and jumping p do more often. -Another trick that isn't used is after spamming jumping FBA, do an empty jump shorter to punish. This works better against more punishable uppercuts, like ryu/ken.
Jap iTunes. Need to make a new account and buy an iTunes card. Or schmooze up to someone to let you borrow their jap iTunes account...
No. Maybe it is my habbit. I notice most gief play rather use cr kick to spd. It works coz pp would often do sth after gief's cr kick. For me, i would spam the st punch. I spam punch when i walk to him. People will get hit when they want to jump out. So you can sometime mix with the spd with spamming standing punches
