Have you tried spamming Seismo and neutral jump Burning Kick like an ass? It worked for me, once. I'll play Viper again for a bit to see.
Hello, just came by to say good games to berserk_2nd. Those were exciting battles, though I noticed we started to lag on the 9th, and 10th game. Strong defense, good sagat overall. The 9th match was real close, I made a mistake in tapping ultra too soon. I spent some quality time in the training room today with Sakura. She's a combo queen (akuma king). But still only has no strong anti air beside FA and anti air punch (close to worthless for anti air). Anyone likes to take me for a round ?
Standing punch can aa at the right distance. I think sakura's standing k is underused In fact, she doesn't even have a good aa in arcade, but she gets by
I started pricing sakura after Watching Uyro (Sakura god) in SSF4 AE. yes but risky gives more range than anti air low punch, but requires precise timing. Most of the times these are trade damage cancel moves. But with character has good overhead these are pretty useless. Your guile is too good for my Sakura to do any fancy things lol.FA is her best anti air No I use st k a lot. Sakura is underused thats for sure lol Sakura has crazy mix up and resets. The kinds that make you go crazy lol, but just like Yun, very technical also.
I usually block, anti air punch is just piece of crap, if missed you end up with massive of enemy's combo damage, but If the targe is in corner use ex shouoken for anti air, then follow with ultra(is freaking awesome, only thing I hate is Sakura ultra damage is retarded), if I have 3 bar ex, I also sometimes use even not in corner cause u can DASH cancle it. PS: ex shouoken is awesome, it got very long invisibility when use and it has very little time for enemy attact when fall on the ground after they block, so I usually spam ultra after I missed ex shouoken, surprisingly it's hits a lot Although This takes long time for me to get used to use it.
Oh yeah almost forgot about ex upper. No I think u can ex shouken anywhere and it would hit, just before they land a hit. Yes that's great anti air right there. Hey Aoi I found some even better combos than the ones u learn from Nash hehe go training room and discover. Man Sakura is so underrated right Aoi?
Since you're late to the party, we found this out a while back: The most damaging non-meter combo after ex tatsu is FA lvl 2, shouoken. Alot of people here can play sakura to some extent. I've had alot of fun playing sakura mirrors. The EX Shouoken is apparently safe on block. Try this combo: Jumping P, cr HP xx EX Tatsu, vertical EX tatsu (3 hits), Diagonal ultra (corner) (628/525)
Yes, I spend a lot of time play it but I can only sitting around 2600 BP, just goes up and down hardly get any 3k+ for her, looking for you to break record and consistently stay 3k above than you should be the number 1 Sakura lol. Tell me the combo, I probably know already, hardly see any Sakura combo that I don't know, it's just the deal of worth to take the risk or ex bar use it or not.
vertical EX tatsu? You mean jump shunpukyaku? It can only hit 2 mate, normal shunpukyaku also works, not worth to spend ex bar for so little damage.
No I mean air vertical EX shunpu. Air vertical shunpu hits twice. the ex in this manner hits 3 times. Droqqa claims he once got 4 hits on an air one. For clarification, I mean an air shunpu that starts as you move upwards, not jumping and then a (ex) shunpu as you move downwards.
I tried that one while ago,yes it hits 4 times but I can only manage to hit 2 on the target, any replay can show me hits 3? combo is too hard with too much risk lol, no point to use it
