That's exactly my point. Doing it over 9,000 matches is virtually impossible. So that just makes me suspicious. For what it's worth, I found the old post from NYC about his matches against Nyak. He said he won 6 out of 8.
Yeah, I'd put Nyak in the top 3 Ryus I think. But he's not better NYC (~80% win rate, but this is overall, not Ryu only). I'm by no means trying to rip on Nyak. He's always been considered a beast. I was just surprised to not be blown away like I am when I play guys like TenOnez and NYC and even more surprised when I noticed a win rate of 94%.
* i havent played nash in a while, have some overdue matches to make. @app: your right, like i said earlier "well-rounded", most average sagat can play pretty ok with just spamming kicks or fbs. so does ryu, lower kick fb, upper. But if you want to attack sagat. Mobility is against him. that's the key. Move likes turtle, cant grab unless add some other fancy stuffs.
Yeah, those win rate make him suspicious. I wouldn't be surprised if he altered his win rate because it's a norm nowadays
Heeeelllo! First off, let me say this. Infinites ONLY in the training room are worthless and just overall crap. I mean, come on! Second, I'm assuming that the Double Roundhouse - Air Gohadou can be done with an instant Air Gohadou? If that's possible. Third, Duyster, yes... it's all about the players... who wins and who loses. If I lose, it's because of me. If I win, it's because of me. But that doesn't excuse the fact that this game is not balanced, and Sagat and Ryu need nerfs. From what DROQQA was telling me, it helped me realize that Sagat ain't OP in general, but he sure is OP against someone like Yun, for example. Ryu, I'm not sure about him. Personally, the main nerf I'd like to see given to Ryu is the removal of his St. HP with St. LP or the Solar Plexus Punch. Anyways, yeah.
lol infinite is not crap, for fun, and yet practice the same moves over again. Yes, your yun will have a hard time with sagat or ryu.
Lot of characters without projectiles will have a hard time with Sagat and Ryu. Cammy has a hard time with both They are the two best characters though
I was gonna say I hate mirrors, but I think against you it should be OK. You are aggressive and so am I so they should be fun. 99% of the time I lose a mirror because I don't have patience.
I agree. She is not that great in Volt. Her fireball is really slow and recovers slow for a charge character.
Things she needs: LP Kikoken Anti-air Flip Kick Second Segment of U1 where she flips and is invulnerable to all Cr. Ks temporarily (the U1 needs to have whiffed or been blocked). J. HK LK Hyakuretsakyu (for better links) Kikosho LK Hazanshu Infinite
I agree! Felix's Cammy is part of the Holy trinity that Shoo talks about. Neco and Red Tiger and Felix! Give us strategy...especially against Sagats
