Hadouken! Shoryoken! Hadouken! Shoryoken! Welcome to your doom!

I would rather fight a turtling Ryu than a Zangief. He hits for so retarded much damage  And i do play a Dhalsim. Starting to play him more in matches again. Though i wish the ultras and revenge fired away a fireball instead ><

I hope its not that easy as Dee-Jay =/

I havent used him in AE but the ones i faced pretty much suck. They are forced to turtlepunch instead of using all their skills. Even Guiles Sonic Boom does a better job=(

I am starting to get good at Guile in online games.

The character i hate the most in online play? Ken. Just Ken.

Its not the hadouken spam they always do. Its the nonunpunishable shoryoken.

Its quite funny. He misses the Revenge, i do a Flash Kick, hes down doing a shoryoken.
I mean how the F can you do a Shoryoken again when YOURE flying upwards after missing Revenge is beyond me. I dont know how many games ive lost thanks to this.
Note: Next time, dont trust Kens punishable moves. Just diagonal and punch/kick him to death xD

And i do hate Zangiefs spamming their stomasch smash jump+punch (i think?) but.. its just the playstyle, its not that i want to whine about it.

And last, i do "hate" facing Blanka but its just about skills =) I have met some pretty crazy ones.

Otherwise, Hadouken spamming Ryus and Akumas, which is about 90% of the players i face, is no problem for me. I have trained and i know which tactics i should use.

I really like Guile! But i hate disconnections! I would play online mode all day and learn to get more skilled if it wasnt for the annoying disconnections and laggy games. =/

You can easily punish kens shoryukens, super and ultra.

If you block his ultra, it goes straight into the second part where he does the massive shoryuken. Wait for him to touch the ground then crouching punch- standing punch-sonic boom-sweep or 2X crouching punch-flashkick-FADC-guile high kick or ultra. same deal with his super and shoryukens. just block them and punish.

Edit: Flash kick or ultra should beat zangiefs body slam. If you dont have charge crouching heavy punch is also good

I just personally hate how EVERYBODY seems to have decided to do the same freaking jump in combo over and over and over and over. jump, high, low, SP. jump, high, low, SP. I miss the fireball spammers cuz I've only been playing against the jumpers today.

Kens: usually is punishable with your fastest attack, but try to do it before they land. As mostly I'm using Bison and Gief, they're quite easily punished by the standing kick or SPD.

Against jumps in, the trick is always to bring the game back to them by zoning and keep out of their "landing range", and aim to jump in on the spot where they land. Usually jumpers will stop jumping if you out jump and attack them.

And if you have problem in getting the attack out in time, and they're right next to you, you can block and just slam them. Many Giefs are surprised when they do the green hand and my Bison blocks and slam them first. There's always a few frames for recovery so make use of that to slam them! :D

Because if theyre doing the same thing over and over you should know hoe to block it. Block jump ins high, then block low. Just watch out for the over head if its sakura, ryu or akuma and if they just walk towards you then theyll most likely throw.

I think Rocktapus was just expressing boredom at the latest trend in shotokan fighters.

I think it's actually good for the SF4:V community at large, that people are evolving past fireball-walls, and playing more aggressively. It's a sign that they're trying new tactics. Eventually, they'll get to a more diversified game.

Yea. I guess now that most people know how to deal with fireball spammers, theyre moving to just jumping in all day. Maybe the next 'thing' will be mixing in lots of throws when people learn how to anti air properly, im already seeing alot more throws than i used to.

Thanks for the tips against Ken/Gief mates!

We will get Fei-Long and i think either Evil Ryu or Gouken;)

Just got my TE stick and started playing on PC and OMG ! The timings for combos are so hard and strict and totally unlike on iphone . Difficulty in combos are ramped up like 10x =.= this is madness .

I haven't seen anything in the files to suggest gouken though, probably just evil ryu at most .

And, probably the best blanka ever lol , mad wakeup tactics on honda near the end :
