Genei Jin DOES reduce hitstun. Do you think it's easy for me to do a Zesshou - Cr. HP x2 - St. K while in Genei Jin?It also removes stun. And makes all moves jump/dash cancel-able. And makes all normals cancel-able into other normals. But... he's giving you more trouble than me? -.- When did you last fight me? So I have been trying to watch new E Honda stuff.... two things I noticed from two different Japanese players, standing kick after blocked ex headbutt works nicely, and throwing out chops to bait your opponent to walk forward and then EX headbutt also seems like a decent strategy. I went back and did the Honda challenges again too, I can't beleive how much damage Honda can do!!! Especially the jump kick, heavy crouch punch, medium crouch punch ex sumo smash. I don't have it down yet, but its not TOO difficult to pull off, and does some really nice damage. So my experience last night after resetting Japanese account and using Honda. First match I played a 2k win, 1k loss 2kBP Honda, He beats my first round, I chase him down and get a perfect, as soon as it says perfect,,, RQ... ha Then I had some regular matches, did decent.... then faced a 3k Bison, he barely beat my honda, and honestly, I was gonna win but I didnt realize how long you have to wait after Bison's ultra before using Honda's ultra... so we rematch, I pick Bison this time to show him whats up, quits at VS screen... lol...... now I know why I only play with people I know
Only faced one so far, 2k..... beat her. I am getting much better with that match up, honestly I think half the reason I don't play as well against you is that I have a mental complex that Apprunner is gonna kick my ass all joking aside, everytime I have used Honda against you, I wasn't playing at my best. I reset my account, so I haven't faced a good Ryu yet. I noticed, picking Honda people try to zone me out, It's actually kind of fun trying to get in and causing damage. If we did meet in ranked, I am an entirely different beast.... there is a switch in my head and when in ranked I will win at all costs
Indeed! Actually, I'm gonna be near some good wifi in a few minutes. I'm gonna play some Japan Ranked for a bit, then I'll hit you up! To be honest, I find I can actually play MORE offensively on the Japanese server, because they actually TRY to attack rather than just standing there like a stuffed animal. So maybe playing more defensive isn't the answer, at least as far as Japan is concerned. I actually feel like I'm playing better on the Japan server than I am on the World server. Just uploaded a replay against A yhwong8, who RQ on me before. In the first round, his life was lesser than mine and he decided to just teleport backwards all the time and don't do anything. Of coz he lost as time winds down. 2nd round, he was leading until he got into the corner, got demonflipped, and make his mistake. Guys should watch for pure entertainment.
