Hehe, as a Bison player I am more than happy to say Cammy is OP. I am a noob zangief and can take out cammy's pretty easily with him... all about matchups. *edit* you have a good Gief, I would be suprised if any cammy could take you out.... horrible matchup for cammy.
Good games. I'm glad the connection was good as well. I was a little fuming over that 2nd match. You played a very unique style with Viper (as you mentioned) that took some getting used to. You also guessed/predicted correctly every time I got in close. Hope to play some more matches soon.

All the Bison, Blanka players think Cammy is OP. all the Shotos and Sagats and Geifs chuckle at that. As a Ryu player, Bison is ridiculously OP. if Cammy were truly OP, we would see a truckload of Cammys in the 4k range. I see way more Bisons and Sagats and Ryus there than anyone. Btw, I am like a rag doll to Inferno as expected. It has to be a 7-3.
Turtles. Ryu sits and fireballs than stares at you. You do anything and he will crouch kick and fireball to death. Same with Ken and Sagats. Spin knuckle is too slow to hit on reaction. Cammy has the worst throw range in the game. You have to literally be touching the opponent to throw. She also has no way to safely chip. Spiral arrow is easily countered by focus. Btw, it's surprising that you use Bison to play my Cammy when I have a crap load more issues with Fei. Most good Fei players beat me more than I beat them.
You took an S tier player to 5 games. No shame in that. I do not feel ashamed I lost to Fffan. I am proud that I gave him a good fight
Yeah, we have been talking about it forever, I was expected to lose. Although, we should have each had two gaurenteed wins, the fact that he took out bison with anyone other than guile really makes him deserve the win. They were awesome matches. No shame at all. I am actually glad that I got knocked out by slrc, imo he is one of the best VOLT players around...
I have no chance in this tourney. Even if I win my couple fights in losers, I have to fight TenOneZ in a couple rounds. . I just hope I eek out a couple wins.
I do not think cammy is OP, however I thnk zangief is, especially with sp assist. Any move that can literally take 3/4 of your life with a simple button press is ridiculous. What makes cammy a difficult player to go against is not her moves, ultra, or speed, its her weird angles and arcs. When she whiffs she can land behind you, she can jump in close from a close range and from far away. She can get to you by coming straight at you, or by a shallow arc, or by going low. She's not OP, just different from other characters on volt.
All the shotos matchups either break even or are in their favor. At least imo. I still don't believe Cammy's throw range is bad at all, Im pretty sure that throw master tournament that capcom had, was won by a Cammy player. Still to this day I get thrown by Cammy more than other character, I'll wait to tech only to get grabbed because she grabbed me from a range I didn't think possible. Im positive Cammy land more grabs than any other character out there. As for the times I played Bison against you, it wasnt because I thought I liked the matchup, I was just training my Bison. Not many people play my Fei because Im usually practicing different characters.

Bro cammy weakness is his upper kick, have to use it in game and if it's missed againest combo master player she will be screwed really bad
If you play it right with cammy grief is actually not taking much advantage, only the scrub cammy gets r@pe hard by that big man

Different ppl got different play style, for me, the key of success to beat greif is the standing kick, the range is longer than any of greif hit, must be using it well, need to use it as a maximum range to keep him away. Now, the only 2 solution for him either jump or he gona do that punch spam lariat, for lariat if he missed out, u got ultra use ultra,wana do it safe u can spiral arrow, wana take some risk to do the mad combo u can jump+kick+other shit you know it, or u can just move forward do the cannon spike+combo to other cannon spike or ultra. If he jump cannon spike. After you keep doing this he will be scared of doing any jump or lariat, once u see he start play a big defensive it's up to you to continue doing the same thing or play more aggressive. Basically the key is to use light kick, but u don't just stand there and noob spam it, if he move toward you pull back and kick, if he move back you go forward and kick, yes is only a kick,but it's take skill to do it well. In my opinion Gief has the advantage over a LOT of characters. I've got to agree with Shane that his Ultra is too powerful but on the other hand what tools does Gief have against the good Sagats or Sims of this world? The good thing about this game is that you are not forced to focus on a single character. I do play Guile, Cammy and Honda on a regular basis too so if Gief isn't the right choice I got a few others up my sleeve
