I'm just checking the tournament results and there is some awesome stuff going on! I think I'll watch all the replays now And btw who is tacoturtle? I've never heard of him before.
Damn lost some really close matches to J.Sabta, i might not have list the first game if it wasnt for my Devils recerse not coming out -_- his ryu is really good. Not gunna lie though if I had won that first game I wasnt giving a rematch, not with his comment lol
I think there are better Codys on the japanese server. Actually one of them is a top player (Hazure something is the name). Damn it, another DD match in the next round.
For dive kick > cr.lk x 2 > Combo 1, aim to divekick at their feet. Otherwise, save it for after a knock-down, so that it's a meaty divekick and you hit them when your divekick animation is almost finished. Otherwise, divekick > cr.lk x 2 isn't very safe.
Good games, DROQQA! Boy, it was tough pulling out those wins. Against my Yun, I think your Sagat needs to focus a bit more upon zoning. That might help you a bit.
Yeah, i don't really understand yun - I play him so infrequently. Gotta figure out exactly what to do against him, I didn't really have a strategy.
"Meaty" what a funny name for a late hit. Guile trick: opponent wake up, late standing back punch - standing uppercut, 2hits...maybe link to focus for 3.
Um... you BnB is Dive Kick - Cr. LK x2 - TC 1 - Nishokyaku. Dive Kick - Cr. LK x2 - TC 1 - Tetsuzanko is almost a blockstring. Remove the Dive Kick, and it is a true blockstring that can't be beaten. And, hey, a nice amount of meter + chip is done! It's Yun's most useful combo. After a Flip Grab, the best option for Yun is to TC 1 - Nishokyaku. Why? Because, TC 1 - Nishokyaku does more than Cr. MP - Nishokyaku.
I'm not talking about D4, that's the right decision, I agree with that. just wonder why they don't have time to finish a 10 minutes game. They are both great players, I was looking forward some good replays.
