I dunno, I really don't think Sakura is that bad.

I'm not too sure about Akuma being that "good", either. I mean, in this iteration of the game, Blanka does VERY well against him.

I think Bison vs Zangief should be 4/6. His standing roundhouse is good for pokes, but if Zangief times it right, they can throw, and no problem if it's EX. It's one of the two matchups I hate.

The other one would be Bison vs Honda. I think it should be a 4/6 also. If Honda just keeps backing away, there's not much Bison can do. No headstomping, no jumping in, no teleporting.

Bison vs Balrog, I see it as 6/4.

I agree with Nullroar that Akuma vs Blanka is definitely not 6/4. It was my worst matchup when I used to play him.

Sakura seems about right. All her moves have such a long startup that you can easily get punished. It doesn't help that she has less stamina than most too.

Up Ken a little? I understand that he's overused, but most are mediocre and seem to have washed him out. A good Ken can be even against Bison. Those jumping spinning kicks -> SRK sure keeps me grounded and when I can't jump as much, there's not too many options.

Is Dhalsim vs Cammy matchup really that bad? I see it as 4/6.

Minor color fix on Cody vs Sagat.

Sakura is still so much better than lowest tier. She has an easy setup-into-ultra, a good priority and high-damage upper (yeah, there's startup, but it's priority is good, it's just not the anti-air that Ryu's is).

She has a held-down fireball that will hit a blanka slide, some spinning kicks that have almost 0 frame disadvantage, making them very tough to punish for some characters, solid focus range, a highly variable ultra (anti air OR horiz projectile).

    She's really quite solid.

@fffan what is your GC username? I still want more rematches and I have way too many random names in GC these days.

Ill take your word on the bison matchups, I have minimal experience with him.

All of kens main tools are gone its ridiculous. No kara throw, crossups are almost pointless because of auto block, and his fireball is still bad.

Ill change blanka akuma, dont know why i put it 6-4 akuma lol.

Maybe cammy dhalsim is 6-4, i dunno. Its proberly more like 6.5-3.5. Dhalsim doesnt have an answer to cammys dive kick pressure, she can dp his air teleports, ex hooligan and ex cannon strike his yoga fire.

Ill change some of her matchups, but shes still the worst or 2nd worst character. Her fireball is rubbish, no reliable anti airs, low damage output.

What I think ill do is note everyones comments and make a new one like a week after the next update (with fei long and e ryu as rumors go).

    Thanks for the feedback :D

Edit: Cammy-sakura shouldnt be 7-3, ill change that

Her fireball actually does decent damage, and the charge ability really allows you to mess with someone's jumping game.

And as for damage output, she has some great, high-damage combos. If you get hit with the ex spinning kick of hers, prepare to loose something like 1/3 of your overall hp through that and the ensuing air combo alone. Just because few people use her properly doesn't mean she doesn't have a strong toolbox.

Also, from my own experience, I think Guile V. Cammy is horrifically 1-sided in favor of Guile, and I'd put it down as one of his stronger MUs. Anyone else out there agree?

CAn someone please help me Zangief vs the millions of Hadoken+Shoryuken spamming kens online? I spend most of my time block hadokens, or lariating through them, or using my green hand to get closer, but as soon as I get anywhere near him, I get shoryukened

Kens pretty bad, just focus through his fireballs and SPD, his fireball recovery is bad.

With his srk, remember that sometimes just blocking and baiting moves is a better option, especially with Gief, as he can punish VERY hard.

The trick against Ken is simply baiting the SRK. Then hit him with a throw after you block.

A good way to do it is jump over the fireball at medium length then immediately block (walk backwards) as you land in front of him. If he tries a throw, it will miss as you are walking backwards. If he SRKs, you block and punish.

Don't try to throw him out of a hurricane kick, as SRK takes priority most of the time. Instead, block low and use lariat to knock him out of the kick.

One great way to ruin his day is to do a focus while he is on the ground, then cancel + backdash as he is getting up. It's great mindgames and often forces a whiffed SRK or ultra. And you always have the option of NOT cancelling at the last moment, once he believes you will, and getting a free focus combo.

One very important strat is that you can move while lariat-ing. If you are riiiight next to him and lariat a fireball, move toward him and smack him with the lariat while he is in recovery frames.

Sagats whole fireball game isnt very useful against viper. She can easily get in by just super-jumping and seismo beats tiger shot in a trade (im pretty sure). Viper can also use her in air burning kicks to delay her fall and possibly bait a tiger uppercut, and she can punish hard.

My GC is psxsquall. Is GC a little messed up on 4.2.1 released back in November '10? That's the iOS I have and haven't updated it since because of laziness...

The EX spinning kick can do a lot of damage, but when I used her, decent people just ended up either blocking it or damaging me 9/10. It would be better if there was something like a 1 frame invincibility, but that's not the case. It's also really tough to get in with her.

I think Viper's a great pick. It will definitely catch people off guard and aren't as prepared for the matchup compared to other characters. I have a replay against a Viper and got perfected one round getting mindf**ked not really knowing what to do.

I'm playing as Zangief and he sucks against Dhalsim, It's nearly impossible to beat an experienced one. I can't even get close to him.
