is there something wrong with wandering warrior? because I looked at it, having won a match, recognised my opponent's name - and it said I'd lost, and that my opponent had dealt a super combo which dealt 2070 damage. Something weird here?
Not really - the Wandering Warrior's results have nothing to do with the fight you had. They're their own thing, determined in a stat-based turn-by-turn fight between the player's avatars. My avatar, for instance, has a win-rate about four times mine!
Sucks because there's those that LOVE ragequitting on ranked matches and end up doing the same on friendlies just so their W/L remains unrealistically high. As Graymalkin stated, they are completely separate from each other. I don't remember what mine said a while ago for one of the battles, but it was something like getting hit with a Super comboing into a Ultra with critical damage. Forgot how much damage it did, but there was just that one entry and the fight ended.
I think it should be iphone explorer. The link is here: http://www.macroplant.com/iphoneexplorer/ Will give it a try and try to figure out WHERE are those replay stored. For conversion into other formats (for uploading into youtube for example), you can try format factory. Not sure if it works but i always use it for normal video conversions. EDIT: Found it (I guess), but cannot open the folder. Need some expert advice here....
You can only open this folder if your device is jailbroken. There's only one way to upload your replay to youtube without jailbreak, that's recording your iphone from another device.
All this seems to indicate YouTube uploading/iTunes export of replays would be a welcome addition. It would certainly facilitate tournaments, as uploaded replays could be used for win verification. Not too mention allowing those of us who still have much to learn in the ways of fireball abuse and corner camping to learn without being on the receiving end of the lesson http://capcommobile.com/contactus.php is a nice place to go and suggest these very features
I was digging around a bit, and I think I found the replay files (files numbered 1 through 10, under documents). They were pretty small in size, and I'm pretty confident that the replay files are saved as button inputs, rather than a video. From a storage perspective, that makes a lot more sense -- they would just playback the button inputs during playback. Additionally, in the first SF4, during playback, immediately after each round, you can actually hit P/K or jump a bit and have it react. EDIT: I just saved a replay file, and a new .RPD file (replay data?) was created, file ID#11 as highlighted. Timestamps of the other .RPD files also match the timestamps of the replays in-game.
Dun seems to work. Somehow my file directories are totally different from yous. My main directories are MEDIA and APPS, nothing else. Yours is ROOT DIRECTORY... Hmmm....
That explains. How's your honda/dhalisim getting on lately? Put on weight, and slimmer (respectively)?
For NON-jailbroken devices, you will need to do the following to access your save file (step 3 in guide): In iPhone explorer go to Apps->jp.co.capcom.capcomacus->documents If using Windows, There's a good chance you will get a "file or directory not found" error. Use method below to access file depending on version of iPhone explorer. iPhone explorer 2.1.2.2 - Right click on the folder you want to access. Select add new folder. You will get a message "You can't add folders here!". Shut down iPhone explorer. Restart iPhone explorer and you should now have access to the folder. Prior to iPhone explorer 2.1.2.2 - You will need to continually try to access the folder (also try right click and select add new folder) until you crash iPhone explorer with an unhandled exception error window. Then select quit. Restart iPhone explorer and you should now have access. See if that works for those that aren't jailbroken
Multiplayer is completely flawed, only people who quit! it took less than a month for people to return to rq and dont care about bp! i played in the last days some matches and only people who quit (friendly and ranked)! and i know, it`s the game and a fix was tried with the penalty and i guess nothing more can be done, the world is full of stupid people (and yes i think the fact that you can`t stand to lose AT A GAME is a sign of massive stupidity, and a lot more)! how can you have fun at this game when you erase the competitivity, when you know that if you lose, you just quit! eh... sorry about my rambling but i needed to say that before i leave this online thing for good! maybe me getting angry at this stuff is a bit childish, but when you buy a game, you want to have fun with it, and these things just get to you wether you like it or not ....
Tried and works. Now I can see the replay data (repData000-019.rpd) (Assuming these are the files)... Now, how do I extract i out into my PC? I tried ctrl-C, or dragging it, it cannot duplicate a copy in a new folder.
People from the Infinity Blade community have made a guide for backing up files: http://crimson.zymichost.com/guide/backup.htm Seems simple enough where they just mention to just drag the file out, but you said that dragging didn't work..... I guess you ask them directly.
this game was released on Jun 29th and the 1st update was on Aug 2nd maybe we can expect next update at the start of September huh?
