Not really... Like my earlier posts, my Bison was crushed by someone's Dhalsim and Honda before... One was fantastic with his sumo slam, the other keep poking me with his long arms. I can't do anything... Damn I hate the lag... My crouch kicks into knee press went like ... argh... come out... stupid SP buttom... presses again... argh... Oh well, Lag fighter IV volt is like that... sigh... It was much better when I'm at home! EDIT: BTW, if you want the Bingo Card achievement, let me know. I can stand there and get hit. Kekeke.
Wow, I never noticed that. I always thought the damage percentage reduction remained the same regardless of the attack. Thanks for the heads up.
Guys, sorry if this got talked about before, but i just have a quick question: does anybody else get this weird burst of static in the audio when playing as Sakura, and throwing a hadoken? I only recently started using her for fun, but found that often when i throw it, the sound is like 'SZZT- HADOKEN'. It seems strange, though, because if i combo into the move, that bit of static doesn't occur, but if it's just throwing them for zoning purposes, it happens with each one. I tried redownloading and reinstalling the game, but it didn't make any difference.
sometimes when i win there is a win message and then black screen with "you have been disconnected", in this case no bp and no win, strange system.
It's not the system, it's your opponent - they've deliberately disconnected on losing. (It's called 'ragequitting', and people use(d) it to try and manipulate their statistics. Capcom have changed the online game now so that if people deliberately disconnect they still get the loss and actually lose more BP than they would normally have done. Unfortunately you still don't get the win - which means people still disconnect out of spite (or because they don't realize they'll still get the loss on their Card...). It used to happen 8-9 times out of 10, when there was no penalty for it - it's a lot less common now).
@Graymalkin: too strange. Oh well, at least i know it wasn't a problem at my end, although sad that i lost a bunch of great (well, for my level anyway) replays when i reinstalled the game. Bah.
aha, thanks, i thought it is defined as ragequitting if you leave the fight, but not if there is already the win message, now i got it. do you keep all stats and challenges done if you reinstall the game?
How do you even put replays into your computers? I mean, if you only have a iPhone and a cable. I got some awesome online matches i want to share to Youtube
Just tried this method out. Oh. My. God. I didn't doubt it would work - but I had no idea just how well it would work. I almost felt sorry for the Russian bear. Almost. Right, I'm off to get the 'Ultimate Perfectionist' achievement on Street Fighter IV...
Huh? That's not "static" on Sakura's Hadoken. The reason is makes that sound is because you can charge her Hadoken. If you just press SP, you'll get her normal one. If you hold it down, it'll charge for awhile and then if you release it's a larger projectile, but it goes a considerably shorter distance. Anyways, yeah, I can't wait for the next update. Seriously wish T Hawk would make an appearance though.
Without jailbreaking, you can still use iphonebrowser/iphoneexplorer (forgot which one it was...) to access the replay files. You just have to be persistent. I have never tried it, but there's methods floating around. Since I'm jailbroken, I use an app called DisplayRecorder to record the video. As for the audio, I do an audio out to the PC and end up combining both of them with a video editing program. On friendly matches, can people still ragequit without a penalty?
sometimes I got dc in friendly match and as far as concern there is no penalty as there is no reward in friendly match as well
