I just need to double check dates and rules, I'm still not so sure about character selection....Do I have to use one character for 2 games, then another for 2 games? Or could I use one character, then another, then back again, then a completely different character?????
Simple rule. You can only use a character 2x max per set. For example, Hieu uses Cammy 2x and decimates your Bison then uses his Blanka and finishes you off. He can then use Cammy again 2x on his next opponent.

We were talking about it in Palringo. Layla has played Neurosis on SSF4 AE, she is BOSS at that game, would wipe the floor with all of us. But we're a bit safer on Volt lol
ok. I posted on the other thread, but I kind of want answers now. No offence, but the other thread doesnt look great with the edit posts and stuff... So is D4Gamers basically setting up the brackets because he is in charge of setting up the tournament. As I said in the other thread, no single one person in this community should be making the brackets, based on such a subjective topic as skill level. Random seems totally fair. But I hear skill and random was used to set up, I mean come on... that sounds crazy. I know you want to avoid bitching, so simply reply with, this is the way it is, if thats how its going to be. I can hack it if your response is "we own the tourny we make the rules" no problem there. thanks,
Oh my...NYC Chinatown has joined the tourney. Probably the best Ryu in Volt Anyways, D4, you may have to explain the bracketing. Lets get some transparency into this so everyone is comfortable. Perhaps you can make two sets, one with skill level bracketing and the other completely random and see what people want.
I really see two options, to stave the public outcry. 1) Completely randomize it. 2) Use everyone's BP rankings on BattleNet, as of the time of tournament closing, and us it to determine seeding. While I can admire that you're trying to go for a good "entertaining" tourney, so that we don't have marquis match-ups in the first round, that's entirely speculative/subjective. Even if BPs are pretty shoddy, at least that's transparent for everyone to see.
Uh... Felix... I just played NYC Chinatowns Yun. Easily the best Yun hands down. I was playing like shit, but he wasnt really giving me a chance to do anything. he wouldnt even take Ryu out, he told me that is backup now.
I knew we should have kept two tiers! Kidding. The rules and tourney are set before us. No turning back. D4, two weeks is not enough time to complete this Tourney. We will definitely need 3. Clear out your replays people....you will need room to save all this epicness!!!!
