It's not your fault that I lost in those Akuma matches. :D It was mine. Even if a match is laggy or whatever, ultimately, it's my fault that I lost. They were fun. :D

You know, you might be right about that. I haven't really experimented with it, much. But I have got this one against Squall where I narrowly save myself from certain loss with a EX Zesshou - EX Zenpou - Cl. St. MK - Ultra, I think. You should watch it, it was great fun. There are two replays of me fighting his Sagat, though.

I only play Cammy in ranked, really. I'm not sure who would help me to get 4K BP better...

And thanks. I'm sorry if you were using a secret character and I just gave him away...

Ken: Use Thunder Kick a lot. Excellent poke + good distance covered.
    Akuma: DO ALL THE SPAM!
    Sakura: Crossup ALL the people!
Cody: Zonk Knuckle. Remember that now.

I think you may have misunderstood me. I did beat you 2 or 3 times while you were using Akuma, but the one set you beat my Bison with Akuma was freaken AWESOME. I am soooo bummed that neither of us have that replay becuase I so hasitly left after the KO :p

You only play cammy in ranked? Why don't you ever counter pick my bison with cammy? lol..... I think you would enjoy that match. especially while I pull my hair out :D

Have you identified one for Abel? I need some replays to tied me over when I don't have wifi access.

Sorry. Another godless character :D BTW, there are waaay more Japanese Abel players than US players and they are not that much better. The highest Abel i fought was around 2.5k and he rage quit at the second match :D

What is weird is that I haven't ever fought a dominating Ken or Akuma. I fought a 4k Ken in Japan and he left after 1 (replay up on my japanese apprunner account :D)...i wouldn't call him dominating for sure.

I fought a 2.5k Cody in Japan too...not really good and he left after 1. I need to fight Hazure though...hear he is good. There is a reason why everyone uses the characters we are familiar with...just more potential.

Edit: Besides Finix, i fought a Vega named JGT or something like that. It was a 3k Vega and he was okay. Finix was definitely better though and I didn't rematch cause it was stupid laggy.

Can you be more clear? Are you on BN? Are you already on a team? Are you looking to create your own team or join a team like TA AccentCore?

I want to get your opinion on my Abel sometime. I still have a long way to go but am starting to really like him as a character aside from his big weakness against air attacks. I still really need to find a way to consistently work in cr. lk -> rekkas though. I tried him for a couple of days a few months ago and dropped him quickly but it seems he may stick awhile this time.

I went through a Cody stretch a couple weeks back before I realized my hands aren't nimble enough to use three fingers on my iPhone. But I've looked through the Japanese servers for replay of him and Abel and haven't been all that impressed. I did find a couple high BP Abels but thought they were pretty straight forward (although, to be fair, most were uploaded by their opponents so they were losses). I saw some replays from Hazure and one other player (can't remember his name) that were good but not great. I think Hazure may be the type that doesn't wow you on replays but reads very well and does impressive damage when he gets in.

To be frank, I think Cammy is a really really bad matchup for Cody so I have a negative impression of Cody. For Abel, it seems the shotos will give Abel a handful. Cammy is also a difficult opponent due to her speed, dive kicks, and good jumping attacks. I think Abel suffers because he doesn't hit as well as HOnda (the other grappler) and doesn't throw as well as Gief. Yes his tornado throw has great priority but Gief's SPD does INSANE damage.

I think the most issues i've had against Abel were the ones that abused wheel kick quite a lot. Its safe on block and if it hits, does tons of damage. Also cannot be blocked low. Try to abuse that move and see if it gets you anywhere. Don't try to tornado too much and never try to tornado a jumper. Better to block and sweep them...if you try too many tornado attempts, its easy to bait you to do that move and I will really punish after a miss.

Also, he has one of the better supers and ultras in the game so take advantage of that. The last move on that rekka is dangerous. TONS of recovery time so be careful. Maybe just go up to the punching set and then forget the throw piece. Snooper could give you some great advice as he once mained Abel. I believe Hieu mained Abel too.

On Mikkel's defense, you stated it yourself: friendlies are for fun, skill-testing, and learning. I don't think all friendlies include those 3 elements, but if someone is playing a keepaway spamming fb, are they not testing your skills whether you know how to handle that or not? And if you don't know how to deal with the situation, aren't you thinking of ways to get in by taking the least damage to punish them? This strategy also tests your ability to find the perfect distance to punish them in case they teleport past you.

Abel tips (not all of them):
Falling Sky after a step kick - dash if your opponent has learned to jump out of the way of a Tornado throw.
The second hit of his Cr. HP (elbow) puts your opponent in a juggle state. This means you can anti-air them into a juggle state. But, remember, if you hit them with the first hit, they'll reset and you won't be able to juggle them.
His Sweep is special cancelable. Use this to mess with your opponent's charge, or just gain meter. It can also do the high low mixup on block with Sweep - Wheel Kick/EX Wheel Kick.
His Cr. LP can link into his St. HP which can cancel into his CoD which can FADC into his Cr. HP which can combo into his Ultra. Remember that now.
His step kick can combo into St. HP on counter hit.
Three of his forward dashes cross the screen.
His EX Marseilles Roll is good for escaping corners, but both the normal and EX version can still get grabbed.
If you land a Focus Attack, Cr. HP - Falling Sky is better than Tornado Throw. If you plan on using EX, Cr. HP - EX Wheel Kick will do more than Cr. HP - EX Falling Sky.
His Cr. LP lets you easily tick into a Tornado Throw.

I was using blarog earlier playing against a chun li, I was charging FA, she jumped in and used EX spinny bird kick thingy... right when she was activating I guess its called Lvl 3 focus attack came out, we traded slightly but she got blasted away, we were near corner, I dashed forward... maybe two times, I dont really remember and while she was falling I got some kind of a standing punch in AND a headbutt and was able to connect to ultra..

it was truly amazing seeing this, and it opened my eyes up to the "juggle" state, which I didnt think was much in this game..

Too bad the game had an ultra laggy connection, other party left before it finished so I couldnt save replay to show off what I have done.

    Is this even possible?!

*edit* I may have recalled the events slightly wrong, BUT I know for a fact, I used a FA, launched her, and before she touched ground connected some amazing freaken combo
